This place was sooo good! The best Japanese I’ve ever had. As a vegetarian, they had so many accommodating options. The food was incredibly fresh and high quality. Flavor was absolutely delightful in everything. Staff was super friendly. First time trying boba tea and it was yummy. I feel really good after eating this!

I could not give this place and the staff enough praises if I tried! The food is amazing every single time, and the staff is always incredible as well. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or you’re looking for some comfort food, Hiko is perfect every time! The atmosphere is also very cozy, and you don’t have to struggle to have a conversation. I love dining here with my friends and partner, and hope that this amazing staple sticks around for a long time!

Omg. I had to leave a review after leaving here. This place is a gem and the food is PHENOMENAL. I stopped in to hand out flyers and ended up coming back for a meal. I got the hibachi steak and it was amazing. My coworkers also go the hibachi and we all agreed the food was delicious and fresh. I live about 40 mins away but I’ll be coming back before i leave town. Linda had GREAT customer service and everyone else was very welcoming. I wish this restaurant an abundance of wealth.

Let me start by saying it wasnt bad. The rolls were tasty (though a bit oversauced), and the tempura shrimp were fresh. But if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food, this ain’t it. First clue, everything has fried rice on the side. I didn’t even see steamed rice on the menu. Second clue, they refer to their teppanyaki items as “hibachi”. I guess this is a standard terminology in the US, although incorrect. An earlier reviewer said this restaurant is to Japanese food what Taco Bell is to Mexican food. That is an accurate statement, but I like Taco Bell, and I like this place too. Not authentic doesn’t mean not delicious. Sorry no photos. I wish I had tried the Ramen.

The establishment was satisfactory, and the food was acceptable. The service was average, but the staff were friendly and courteous. There was a slight mix-up with our orders, which caused some confusion as we were a large group, and our sushi orders were combined. However, this was quickly resolved when we asked our server to clarify which order belonged to whom. Overall, we were pleased with our dining experience and would consider returning in the future.

So happy to have this caliber of sushi and Ramen east of the Mississippi River. Incredibly friendly staff, the owner even was making sure to talk to every table each time we visit. She’s really good at remembering names. We will continue to visit, and always have an enjoyable meal. Oh, be sure to try the crab Rangoon too

We visited around 5 pm on a Thursday, and our party of three was seated immediately. Our server took our drink order and returned promptly to take our food order. We ordered the tempura shrimp and crab rangoon for appetizers, which arrived very quickly! I had the hibachi filet mignon, which came with veggies and rice. The other folks in my party had the pick two steak and shrimp. Everything was delicious and hot! I’m not sure why they asked how we wanted the steaks cooked because they all came out pretty well done. They were still tender and delicious. I forgot to get a picture before we took two of the crab rangoons!

We visited this place the day after they opened, so there were some issues to be expected. The wait was not too long to be seated, nor was the wait for the food. However, the delivery timing for the food was a bit off. The food that we received was great! We will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings!
