Well this is my first time eating here so everything I say is preliminary.
Taste – we had tempura shrimp, edamame, gangsta roll and a spicy chicken teriyaki bowl. The tempura shrimp had great flavor and I liked the panko that was on it but the sauce not so much. The edamame was hot and I liked the rock salt on top, just wish it was mixed in a bowl while evenly seasoning it with the salt before plating. The gangsta roll was decent but the sauces were confusing the flavor and it tasted like a rice candy with a touch of crab flavor at the end. I loved the fact that the chicken was actually grilled, you can taste the fire char and the rice was good too. The veggies on top of the bowl were perfectly crunchy and cooked.
Customer Service – the service here wasn’t present as much as I thought it’d be, they did seem a bit busy though. We were never asked if we were doing ok or needed anything else. Food came out in decent time and the lighting was a bit dark.
Price – for 3 tempura shrimp it was $9. Each shrimp is $3 a bit overpriced. If you’d like to serve the shrimp, I’d recommend 3 for $7 and 5 for $10. The edamame was average price for the amount but honestly it was a lot of food for an appetizer. You can save money and food waste if you give two options for edamame, a single and a share option, try and do that, trust me it will work for the best. The roll was priced like any other sushi place, not much to say. The spicy chicken teriyaki was the best priced for the quantity. I wasn’t able to finish it and it had a lot of rice as well.
In conclusion, I’d like to try this place again knowing what I know now. I hope owner/management looks into what I said and I think this place has potential. Cheers!

Been coming here since I worked at the mall years ago. Everything is pretty good and reasonably priced. It can get a bit loud but that’s expected with the tv and music that’s playing. Service is great, staff is always friendly.

It smells really weird in there, very hard to ignore. Our server arrived very promptly to take our drink order but since we were still debating whether we would stay due to the smell, I asked him if he could give us a minute. Apparently he didn’t like that and for the rest of the time had a long face. He didn’t really do much anyway, he took our order and brought our drinks, that’s all. Other staff brought our food and they were really nice and friendly, actually everyone was, except this guy. So the two stars go to the friendly staff and sushi chefs.

Everything was great. Right up to when we were done eating. Sat for 15 minutes waiting and ended up having to ask for the check.

Overall everything was great. I did notice that one chef was using his phone with gloves he was making food with. Was waiting to see if he’ll change gloves once he was done but went straight back to making food after. We use phones everywhere and they’re very dirty. :/

My go to spot for great sushi and ice cold beers. Their Dr. Jon Son Roll is by far, my favorite roll they offer. Friendly staff and great atmosphere all make for an excellent eating experience.

We enjoyed our dinners. First time trying their ramen. Unfortunately no ‘Tonkatsu ramen. The big winner was the bento box. Very good spicy chicken teriyaki. And you can’t go wrong ordering the tempura. I’ll pass on the ramen on my next visit. We watched the Dodger game and the atmosphere is nice. You may also dine al fresco if you like.
