I love taking clients and family to this place. Lunch or dinner the atmosphere never disappoints and I have not found sushi I prefer ANYWHERE. Very good quality rolls. My husband gets the hot skillet of spicy pork and that is also like nothing we have had elsewhere. If you eat sushi do yourself a favor and come here.

Finally got around to trying Hikari. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place and I loved it. The sushi is huge ! They have such a diverse menu of rolls I’ve never seen anywhere else. Service was seamless, food was quick. I can’t wait to come back and try more. I went around 2:30 on a weekday. there weren’t many people in there. Very comfortable atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Hikari Sushi on Hwy 6 for years—always fresh, consistent, and well-priced. The lunch specials are a great deal (see pic!). I usually get the Shaggy Dog Roll ($13)—crispy shrimp tempura with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Sushi Combo A is another go-to: 6 pieces of nigiri and a California roll for $18. I also like to add the agedashi tofu for just $5.50. Their poke bowls are also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned ($12-$16).
Tips:
• Come during lunch—prices are hard to beat
• Staff is always friendly and welcoming
• If you order to-go, they often include free miso soup!
Definitely one of my favorite local sushi spots.

Looks kind of sketchy on the outside with all the windows covered up (update from March 2025: they seem to have uncovered the windows and fixed this!) — But the inside is just dazzling! Very intimate, beautiful, cozy, and relaxing. And the food was good too! My husband and I went on a date here, and we spent two hours just talking and enjoying the food and drinks because the atmosphere was so cozy and intimate. Will definitely be returning here.

After coming here once I got hooked. I had been looking for a nice and cozy little sushi place and this place fit everything I was looking for. It’s a very quaint and cozy little spot. The service has never once been anything less than welcoming and warm. The food is delicious and fresh. The drinks are tasty (granted I’m mostly drinking sake with my sushi) and the music tends to be soft and relaxing. All in all I’ve been going here consistently since I found it because of how nice the experience is every time. I highly recommend trying it out at least once (date nights are 11/10)

I wanted to leave another review but it won’t let me so here I go again…The staff here are incredible—they truly make you feel like family every time you walk through the door. They even notice when someone in your usual group isn’t with you and take the time to ask about them. The service is always top-notch, and the food is absolutely delicious every single time. I love this quaint and peaceful sushi restaurant. Great ambience and decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Wide range of selection of sushi rolls. Loved our appetizers (octopus balls and phoenix warrior)!! We each love to pick a sushi roll and will split those along with the Unagi plate so that we can have some fresh grilled vegetables and a cup of rice to go with our meal as well (we like to think it’s us being healthy lol). Overall love this place and the food and service is always 10/10!
