Not sure what the rest of the Mexican food scene in Copenhagen is like but these were quite underwhelming given the reviews. Maybe I had higher expectations? The habanero crema was nice but otherwise they were super oily, I was surprised by the lack of pico or anything salad like in the filling (there are greens but these are cooked in oil too), and the seasoning was off. I think the seeds were an interesting touch but I missed the balance between spice, sour and fresh kick. Their tortillas were incredible nonetheless, so I believe this could be very tasty on another day.

Pricey but delicious Mexican stand in the market hall. The guacamole was so unique! It had some kind of avocado leaf oil, and was really rich and avocado-y. The chips were super crunchy and very corn-y. The salsa was my ideal salsa- spicy but also sour, sweet and salty. I wish I could make salsa like that. The tacos were superb as well – especially al pastor and Barbacoa. The veggie was not the most impressive – I did like the flavour combinations but it was a bit minimalist being kale with a bit of peppers and onions and some chilli crisp. Overall though I would recommend this highly! Some of the best tacos I’ve had.

Good tacos in Torvehallerne. The portion is quite small for an average price. I found the quality worse than in Kødbyen. The staff was nice and service fast.

Don’t be scared by the low rating. I had the taco combo: flavorful with a nice level of spicy in the perfect corn tortilla. I had tacos in another place in the city with higher rating and this one was better for sure.

We had the taco combo which includes three different kinds of tacos- pork, beef and vege ones. They were all delicious and I liked the vegetarian one most because it has a spicy kick and nutty. You might need to wait for about ten minutes when it’s busy but not too long. Overall we quite enjoyed it.

We tried their outside booth as the queue there was shorter. The food came within 20 minutes.
They were not the best tacos we have had but they were okay. The beef and the pulled pork had a similar taste while the potato one was not my favourite.
The iced hibiscus tea was okay and not too sweet.

A bit tired of having another burger? Go no further!
We had the Gringa al Pastor (flour tortilla with pork, grilled cheese, onion, coriander and pineapple & jalapeño salsa) and we LOVED it!!! We were a bit skeptic about the pineapple but it just works!!! We also added the guacamole that really isn’t necessary (35 dkk for a very small portion)
This is fingerfood – its comforting – and it just makes you happy 🙂

I had the taco combo and they were pretty decent, with nicely balanced flavors. The lemonade was also quite good. A good spot to try Mexican food.

Had the best churros! And the staff is so nice and create a good atmosphere inspite of the hectic and somewhat crowded space. I think the name of our server was Miguel but all seemed very friendly. Will def come back soon.
