So delicious, my favorite place since today! I love the clean and organic ingredients and the very careful cooking preparation, giving it all so wonderful taste. The vegan burger patty is yummy. Just be aware that the bun has eggs in it, but you can ask for a lettuce wrap like I did. The fries are top of the top in LA, same as the wagyu beef burgers. Ate it all, loved it all, plus the staff is very nice.

HiHo Cheeseburger is a burger spot that prides itself on using 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef sourced from sustainable, GMO-free farms in New Zealand. The burgers are prepared in a simple and healthy style, yet the rich flavor of the beef truly stands out, with a perfectly seared finish that makes every bite satisfying. It feels like a cleaner, less guilty option for those moments when you’re craving something indulgent, since it balances comfort food with quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is bright, modern, and very clean, while the staff are warm and friendly. It’s a welcoming space that feels easy to enjoy whether you’re dining alone, with friends, or bringing the whole family.

I don’t understand WHAT this dude’s problem is. There was this bald-headed black man w/ a beard. Idk if he was having a bad day or if some body mistreated him JUST before I had arrived but, just a few days ago, I went in b/c a friend recommended me Hiho’s burgers.

I was so excited to eat there but, I never did. Why? Well, I walk in & I see the gentleman (the black bearded bald man) & I say, “Hiho! How are you?!” (Thinking he’d appreciate that) Instead, he just had a serious face & goes, “Are you picking up??” As a customer, I felt SO DUMB for even bothering to waste a silly joke on him, tho’ I figured my intent was to brighten up the day for the both of us. I replied, “Uh, no, I said How are you doing?” His response was to repeat his question again, “Are you picking up??”

I literally lost my appetite, due to TERRIBLE LACKING OF CUSTOMER SVC & piss poor attitude. I just drove right back home & made myself a Maruchan ramen.

I know that we’re in an age where our cities are more & more populated, ppl are ordering a lot more food (togo/for here), maybe, as a result, there’s higher demand in SPEED over customer svc (like a simple greeting or simple gesture of acknowledgement to show the guests that they are HAPPY to see you & for YOU (us customers) to be here… but, this guy, I sensed some intentional arrogance & mal-intent, which is OPTIMALLY-utterly unfortunate.

For almost a year, I’ve been desperately seeking a job, which, recently-thankfully, I’ve been hired. I truly hope this guy learns to appreciate his job & imo deserves some much needed discipline. Thank you. 1 day, I’d still love to go eat there.

Probably the worst burger and fries I ever had, and the chicken sandwich was horrible. Everything was super oily and cold

They charged us two dollars for one side ranch dressing that was half empty. The burger was decent. The fries were awful. They fry them in very old oil. You can tell by flavor.

Alright, burger aficionados, I’ve just experienced burger nirvana, and it’s called Hi-Ho Burger in Encino. Forget everything you thought you knew about patties and buns, because Hi-Ho is rewriting the burger rulebook.

Let’s start with the meat. They use 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef, and you can taste the difference. It’s rich, juicy, and melts in your mouth like butter.

This isn’t your average ground beef; this is a culinary masterpiece between two buns. Each bite is a symphony of flavor. The best part is the meat is Halal.

They don’t overload their burgers with a million toppings. They let the quality of the ingredients shine. It’s a classic done to absolute perfection.
The fries? Crispy, golden, and perfectly salted. They’re the ideal companion to the burger, and you’ll find yourself fighting for the last one. The fries are served in a freaking awesome brown paper bag with holes in the shape of H. A very artistic touch. Picture is included below.

But it’s not just the food that makes Hi-Ho so special. It’s the atmosphere. It’s clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about their burgers. And there is a feeling of a place that cares about quality.

This isn’t just a burger joint; it’s an experience. It’s a reminder of what a truly great burger should taste like. It’s a testament to the power of simple ingredients done exceptionally well.
If you’re looking for the best burger in Encino, scratch that, the best burger period, head to Hi-Ho Burger. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, you’ll probably be planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your first bite. Prepare to have your burger expectations shattered and your taste buds forever grateful. Hi-Ho Burger, you’ve earned a permanent spot in my burger-loving heart!

Incredible taste & texture of the bun and meat EVERY TIME. The fries are extremely fresh and never overcooked. The pastrami option is cool but I do wish they had regular bacon and I’d be 100% satisfied. Love this place!

The Hiho Cheeseburger brand has become a ghost kitchen for delivery apps.

The new business model only values “take out” orders.

Because take out orders requires zero customer service and practically eliminates costumer interaction.

Then it strengthens their cash grab as there is no form of customer service to have anything fixed or any form of accommodations made.

The once customer centric fast casual brand is dead.

Customer service left the building with the previously offered silverware and dishes and was long gone when the fountain drink machines were packed up.

Rather then rising to occasion and working to overcome the hiring and staffing issues they just make more standardized operating procedures and hired whoever they could find.

Now this place is operating solely by drones that don’t care about anything.

The consistency is on their terms.

The first order of fries I ordered had no salt based only on the usual level of salt.

I ordered and paid for more friends and politely asked for extra salt

Drones the told me they can’t add any extra salt.

Despite the salt in the cheap Sysco foods packets being different salt they made to clear even after they put my fries on the serving tray they couldn’t add any extra salt.

How petty.

They want $24 for burger and fries but don’t value customers enough to make a simple request for salt.

I have played their game long enough to know they make ZERO food modifications aside from doing a lettuce wrap.

But no salt.

Shut the remaining restaurants down already and just go total ghost kitchen brand.

Make everything to go and order via a window.

I’m not returning or recommending it to any restaurant within the brand group.

Absolutely garbage restaurant group.

Looking forward to seeing these retail locations close

This place has been on my list for awhile now and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Hiho is the only burger restaurant that exclusively serves 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef. Burger patties are thin smashburger style so a double is the way to go if you normally get a single. Bun is soft. Fries are soooo good, cut with the skin on and are super delicious crispy but seasoned to perfection, soft and tasty. I normally don’t like mustard but just order it the way it’s served and enjoy. It’s an order at the counter type restaurant and find a seat although they do bring your food to you. They said wait for the burger was 30 minutes, definitely didn’t take that long but regardless worth the wait. What made the dinner even better was the staff was so friendly and attentive. Excellent service.

Restaurant is located at the Sportmans lodge shopping center. You can enter the parking lot through Ventura Blvd or Coldwater Canyon. It’s free parking for first 90 minutes.

They serve the very best wagu burgers and the wagu pastrami Ashton cheese fries and fresh pickles are great too. Well worth the bad parking situation. Amazed! I got a triple lettuce wrapped cheeseburger. No one can come close to that wagu flavor for a good price!
