We came here after 2 pm and most of the food were out already. It’s buy whatever is left on the shelf. You have to get here early to get your choice of bento. I got the Kama bento and it was delicious. Hubby got the chicken bento and liked it. Service was great.

Fast and quick. Bentos are reasonably priced and filling…definitely a place to pick up prepared meals.
Good selection of bentos and musubis with option of white or multi grain rice.
Located next to the new restaurant Rice burger and cafe, outside has one table and three chairs. Inside is setup as a grab & go.

What a lucky find. This quaint little takeout restaurant has a variety of musubi, sushi cups and bentos. We tried the miso butterfish and salmon & ikura sushi cup. Both were excellent.
It’s located near Longs. There was a line when we arrived but it moved reasonably quick.

Cute musubi and bento spot. With a great variety of musubis in interesting flavors like tuna mayo apple cucumber and their special musubi for the day was chicken tsukune.
Will be back to try their desserts too!

What a most wonderful gem in Kaimuki! Even if there’s a line (it’s a small take out shop, limit 3 ppl at a time), it goes by fast and it’s definitely worth the wait. With various yummy musubis, bentos, and sushi bowls, it’s hard to pick! I have to come back to try more dishes! Staff are really friendly and helpful too!

Although we were a bit late on this day, but we lucked out and was able to get the very last bento (1/2 lb hamburger steak) and a variety of musubi. Normally, there’s a line from the time they open (11am to about 1pm or 1:30pm), but when we got there at about 1:30pm, we walked right in and scooped up what we can. Currently, due to the pandemic, only 2 people are allowed inside at a time. Our family of 4 was not even allowed to go in together. As we walked out, I felt slightly bad for the small line that formed after us, but can’t help it I guess. Haha! Very delicious if you want a true Japanese style bento meal.

Good take out bentos, assorted fish bowls and salads. Despite the strict mask guidelines and three at a time customer limit in the shop, people are allowed to touch and inspect items for sale without sanitizing. Although the staff are well protected and gloved when preparing the food, ungloved customers potentially contaminate the items left on the shelves. Signs need to be displayed that instruct customers not to touch items they choose not to purchase. I’m sure the food would have tasted better knowing that strangers before me had not molested my meal. For now, not my first choice for Japanese bento sryle meals.

Amazing food! But the store is pretty small, so they only allow 3 people inside at once. So mostly, you will need to wait outside.

Weekend trip to Oahu stumbled on this place
on a beer run to Times supermarket. Price point good. Quality and presentation at the Japanese level! Especially loved the to-go size ikura that can be added to any poke bowl or bento. A pickup only eatery.

This really a tiny Japanese Bento store that sells delicious and beautifully plates. I had heard about this store from my friends IG posts. I even went by the store once before they opened for the day. The line was 6 people long.
Today I worked on the Shopping Center and wanted to give Higoto a try. 1:15 pm. No line, not much selection. I did get a good selection. The meal reminded me of the food we had when we visited Japan. So many flavors and textures. I can see why they have such a loyal following.
Give then a try.
