I have a hard time being critical of a small town bakery. We went twice over our visit in the area. The food was great! Jemez burrito was very big, filling, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the samosa and that too was very tasty. Chai was a miss but, that’s okay. The second visit was eclair and pinion tart both tasty, a bagel was more like a buttery bun flavor, some coffee and a latte. The service was slow both times, long wait in line (even just being second in line) and waited quite a bit for food. I kept just reminding myself to stay in the slow town pace. Seemed like a single boy working register and all the drinks. Maybe more help up front?

The savoury dishes are a good size, they leave room for some of the very nice pastries. The chocolate eclairs are excellent, definitely worth having. I nearly took another to go

There’s not much “amazing” food on this strip of town but I did want to say service was great and their dessert options were decent. The actual entree foods can be better; if not really show the culture around here especially during thanksgiving week when they have the lights of gesewa (they moved the dates around now)

We had the Angus Burger and fries. Burgers were fresh and delicious. We had both the apple pie and spice pumpkin pie for desert…..both were fantastic. If your in the area stop by you won’t be disappointed!

After a night of camping we had Jemez burrito and Breva coffee here. Portion wise really good size for burrito and coffee. Burrito was delicious and well cooked and I loved skinny potatoes but it was little bit too salty for me.
I didn’t try their pastries but I read they are good too. I will this place next time for sure.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after doing some fishing. Very small little cafe with a handful of staff but they got orders out pretty quickly and got through the crowd of people that showed up. We got the quesadillas, burgers and milkshakes. Honestly everything we got was delicious. For what you pay you get a very nice portion size. The salsa was BOMB, not spicy and a lot of flavor (even my kids liked it)

I was ignored by the person behind the counter for the first 3-5 minutes I was there. I was the only customer and he seemed to be not really be doing anything.
Once he did pay attention to me, he just looked at me. Never said hello, never asked what I wanted. I finally asked for an iced americano and a muffin. He barely acknowledge this and made the coffee. He then grabbed a muffin, put it in the bag and handed it to me. Usually muffins are room temp and in all cases the person asked if I want it warmed up. In this case, the muffin was frozen. He never offered to thaw it much less warm in up.
I would avoid this place and look for better options in this amazing little town.

The perfect cafe with nice food and bakery options! This is my second or third time I’m stopping here when I come to Jemez Springs! If you’re looking for a breakfast or brunch spot perfect for you!

I was a better person after this breakfast. My partner and I had a hard night camping in the rain and we’re very hangry. Our moods changed so much after our burritos!
