I just left The Loop, but the bright vibrant colors & music brought me in.
I wasnt hungry but the menu made me reconsider that. Several items got my attention, altho I settled on the apple chimichanga. I asked the bartender if she had tried it before & she said no, but she was wanting to share half with someone as it was really big. Well It was just as big as she said it would be. I ate my half & boxed the other half for her.
The patio area seemed to be where all the action was with most everyone sitting outside. If I come back with a few people, maybe we will sit out there. I always sit at the bar as I enjoy casual conversations with the bartenders & managers.

First time here and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the establishment appears to be converted from a garage. Definitely have never seen a restaurant serve so many meat forms which includes cobia, chorizo and tempeh to name a few different ones. When we went, which was on a Saturday night, Grace the server was super personable, gave great recommendations and was very attentive. We will definitely be back, especially for the nachos!

Disappointing Experience at Hightide Burrito Gallery
Showed up and the place was completely empty — probably should’ve been our first clue. We decided to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a mistake. The bar area opens to the outside through a garage door, and in this heat, it was miserable. On top of that, we were constantly swatting away flies while trying to eat.
The bartender wasn’t very welcoming — gave off a lukewarm attitude the entire time. No plates, no silverware, and no refills. Our food came out on flimsy trays like you’d get at a ball game for a hotdog.
As for the food: completely underwhelming. The empanadas were perfectly fried — crispy and golden on the outside — but had absolutely no flavor. The chicken filling had a strange, tuna-like texture and zero seasoning. The beef tasted like a cheap taco seasoning packet mixed with water.
All around a frustrating and disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

The fact that this place has any 1 star reviews is honestly crazy to me. This is BY FAR my favorite Tex mex restaurant. I live 40 minutes away and still make the drive and would in a heartbeat if it was ever suggested by someone. Every single time i go the service is always great and the food is just incredible. I personally really love the ambiance of the indoor and outdoor and how they are connected. I feel like I’ve gone during different types of weather and never been affected by it. Please don’t let these 1 starts steer you away. Just give it a chance for yourself and you will see!! 15/10

This place has so much more than burritos! The smoke chicken lunch plate was served on a lovely cutting board with a honey chili sauce, tortillas and cilantrio/onions and a side, the taco salad was very big and the burritos were great! They have a big spacious patio and the servers are friendly and fast! Great spot!

There’s nothing here not to like. The atmosphere is a mix of beach meets industrial and the outside porch allows you to bring your fur family members. The food was excellent in prep and taste. I got the shrimp burrito with the shrimp being blackened. You can also get them fried or broiled. I made no changes and appreciated the multiple complimenting tastes. Unfortunately they have Pepsi products but they have a large drink menu to choose from. The restaurant is very clean as was the bathroom. If you are alone, you can sit at the bar and watch one of the many TV’S at the bar. The prices are about right for what you get. Scan the menu cade and look for the prices and pictures to help you select what’s right for you. I will be back

First time here and definitely coming back!! Drinks are perfect, food is tasty. Waiting staff is very lovely and personal. Owner is very cool. The whole vibe here is very chill and relaxing. Suitable for family gathering, business meetups, reading a book alone, enjoying the music, or watching their directTV. Nothing I could think of to improve on! Just perfect.

They recently removed themselves from all online ordering apps and force you to use their own which has a delivery fee which is double the cost of the apps. Was offered a discount code I could only use if I ordered a lot of food. I’m done. No longer ordering from Hightide.

This was a really nice restaurant. We found it by accident. It was my daughter’s 40th birthday. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was good but I will say the portions were small for the price..but it was nice sitting outside and the food was good just know that the appetizer I can’t remember the name of it, but it was the meat on top of the french fries. It is a very very small portion for $16

Not impressed at all, the meat on the street tacos was super dry, the service really sucked, because they only had 2 ladies working the floor, one was playing prep, bartender and server and there was 10+ tables, people at the bar and patio. So they needed alot more staff for the lunch rush. The chips were super hard and could crack a tooth on them. It’s sad because the servers were doing the best they could, but we’re so overwhelmed.
