We are regulars here … and we aren’t regulars anywhere else! The vibe is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the staff is second to none! Ask for Belle, Myra, or Autumn and you won’t be disappointed. We love this place – and a huge part of the experience is how attentive, hilarious, and delightful the staff is. Bingo on Thursdays always fun and Chewy is a wonderful host! This is a dynamite local spot and has well earned its spot on our regular rotation!

Not impressed at all, the meat on the street tacos was super dry, the service really sucked, because they only had 2 ladies working the floor, one was playing prep, bartender and server and there was 10+ tables, people at the bar and patio. So they needed alot more staff for the lunch rush. The chips were super hard and could crack a tooth on them. It’s sad because the servers were doing the best they could, but we’re so overwhelmed.

We LOVED this place when it first opened. We loved walking or biking and sitting at the bar. The service was always friendly and the food was pretty good. (Never great, but the rest made up for it. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the patio is nice)

What a wonderful hidden gem! We end up here even when we think we’re not in the mood for Mexican food because it is a FUN spot. The food is phenomenal – the service is even better. Belle is savvy, attentive, and always has the best suggestions- and super funny! Who knew that the best accompaniment to blacked shrimp tacos was laughter??? We will be back again and again – it’s apparent that the staff loves this place too and that’s kind of rare and special nowadays. Truly a special spot filled with special people!

This was our first visit for my wife and I to High Tide Burrito in Ortega and it didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the house margaritas at the bar. Our bartender was great and very friendly. She brought out their homemade chips & salsa as soon as we sat down. The chips where off the chain good! We ordered the house made bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. They are very good with a nice smoked flavor. My wife had the steak fajitas and I ordered the paleo burrito bowl with blackened shrimp grilled chicken. Both very good. I would definitely recommend to anyone to check them out.

Man… my server devin slayed the day away. She was amazing, highly intelligent of the menu and the hospitality was above and beyond. The hostess.. Allison?? Her energy and attitude was a pure ray of sunshine. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy a scrumptious meal with the most amazing service. I highly recommend the 904 burrito. Yum yum.

The complimentary chips sucked. They were rock hard. Not just once but both times I went. It’s like they are super thick. The corn tortillas were super greasy. the meat was just ok. It was a lil dry. Needed something else. Like sauce or something.

Good food and atmosphere the ONE time I was able to go. Every single time I’ve gone after that they’re closed. For example: their hours say they close at 9pm tonight (Sunday), we arrived at 8:20 but apparently their kitchen already closed at 8pm. It’s almost like this place wants to shut down. So I’ve been to The Loop on 3 occasions that High Tide was closed.

I came for lunch with a friend and sat at the outside part of the bar. Environment was pleasant and the bartender (thick girl with dark brown hair) was awesome and very friendly. I didn’t care for my margarita (too sour) and she was more than happy to make me another one to my liking. Only thing I didn’t like was the chips were very thick and hard. It hurt my teeth and stabbed my gums. Had to break the chips into small pieces to tolerate the hardness of them. And they dont have a crunchy taco, only soft, which was disappointing since I was craving a hard taco. Otherwise I enjoyed my visit.

I was looking for a place on the water, and found Hightide. While they are near a marina, there isn’t much of a view of the water. However, I like the low-key vibe here. They had live entertainment on Sunday afternoon, and I did see a few people could bring their dogs if you’re into that. The tacos were good, and the service was also. Ton of parking.
