Stopped in early afternoon with a friend and it wasn’t busy. We sat at the bar where staff was very friendly and we were served quickly. Our food came out fast. Everything was wonderful and we LOVED the smoked salmon. We got the large nachos and salads. I cannot express how delicious the nachos were! Very happy we came in and we plan to return!

We stopped by for a bite and some beers on our way to Breckenridge. Food was good, beers were better, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Some of the meats were a little overcooked and dry. The side dishes and appetizers we tried were good but nothing memorable. The overall ambiance was consistent with most brew houses. Was a little concerned when two dogs in the restaurant got into a little fight with each other and might suggest not allowing pets.

Located juat a few minutes off I-70, Highside BBQ has easy parking and plenty of space for any party size.
This dog and family friendly spot features an outdoor seating area for the four legged friends and an arcade for children of all ages.
This local brewery also provides almost two dozen crafted beers from the stout to the sweet. My favorite was the Mexican Candy draft
My server was attentive and professional and there was no wait for service during lunch.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for their BBQ, ambiance, amd draft beer.

Was excited to see CO BBQ for a change but was not impressed. Had the brisket. It only comes in 1/2 lb size, nothing smaller. More than 1/2 of the brisket was pure fat. Some fat is ok but this was excessive and was not edible unless you like eating pure fat. Not worth $20 in my opinion. Plus it was very bland for smoked brisket. Its also disappointing that they only have 2 sauce choices, a regular and a mustard one. Come for the atmosphere and maybe beer but, skip the brisket!

What a great local spot! The customer service, staff and owners were AMAZING! Total chill environment, fireplace, pet friendly! All the things! The BBQ was absolutely delicious and the Senior IPA was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Makes me sad I don’t live closer. I’d definitely make it a frequent hangout. No doubt I will return!

We needed a little sustance to help us make our 2-wheeled journey back to Dillon, so it was a quick stop. The queso and chips were a good snack and the hefe I washed it down with was pretty good. My husband had the Trip Leader. I’m glad we finally got here. We’ve driven by it many times as well as the one in Fairplay on our annual visits, but it was never the right time. Parking in the back and a decent patio if you’re lucky enough to visit in the warm months. Dog friendly.

Its so unfortunate this place could be AMAZING but they just are SO overpriced. We spent 90 dollars for 2 people ( 2 meals, 2 seltzers, 2 beers). The nachos are ridiculous. The small portion is absolutely tiny and they charge you 10 dollars for the meat and its tiny little piece. And if you get large they charge you 10 for meat which makes no sense. They used to have great mac and cheese and high noons now they have nutrl which is 9.99…so crazyyy. Sadly we wont be going back and we used to love this place, but the prices are just outrageous

Stopped by HighSide Brewing and had such a great experience. Diego, the bartender, made an amazing espresso martini—absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. The service was just as good as the drink: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in, especially if Diego’s behind the bar!

Love Highside Brewing! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The new menu is so delicious- especially the Bahn Mi sandwich. There’s a wide variety of yummy beers for all tastes. Plus live music, cozy seating and pinball and games for the kids next door in the Highside arcade room. Great stop for kids of all ages!

Very smoky BBQ and the sauce is a bit too spicy for kids. Overall the food is very expensive for what you get. The employees were very friendly and helpful though you do order at the bar and it can be busy/hard to get a new drink. Nice to have some table games for guests to play while waiting for food.
