Came here a couple times for drinks on Fri night. HH is Mon-Fri 2-5:30pm and Fri/Sat 8-11pm. However, late night HH is only for food, no drink deals anymore. They have an extensive drink menu of cocktails and beers. Cocktails are decent. Beer menu doesn’t change, only the Blue Oak and Alpha Acid beers rotate. Most beers are $8 normal price for a full pint. Service is always good. They let you try before buying beers. It’s pretty much open seating. Very spacious. Great place to watch sports. Big TVs everywhere. There’s bar seating, high top counter table seating, booths, outdoor tables. Each booth has their own TV as well. Have not tried their food yet

We came here for the miracle holiday popup. The entire bar was decorated with Christmas decorations and it was super pretty. We got some holiday drinks and food to share – the bbq chicken pizza, calamari, and mango habanero wings were quite good, and we were all super full at the end. Seems like this place also has trivia every Monday at 7pm, so I would definitely come back to participate in that some day.

I stopped into Highland Park Sports Bar & Grill in San Carlos after hearing a Texas country playlist while walking down the street, which immediately pulled me in. The atmosphere was lively, and the drinks were definitely a highlight—nice and strong, reasonably priced, and perfectly poured. The bartender was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easy.

For food, I started with the garlic parmesan onion rings. While the presentation looked good, the taste fell short—overcooked, too much batter, and very little onion inside (4/10). For my entrée, I had the grilled fish tacos, which were decent but not great. The tortillas were overcooked and tough, and overall, they felt a bit overpriced for what you get (6/10).

All in all, the drinks and service were solid, but the food left a lot to be desired. I’d come back for the bar and atmosphere, but not necessarily for a full meal.

Great spot to watch a game and get some amazing bar food. My burger was fantastic! Generous patty and perfect bun. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos. Great place and great service.

Food quality was very poor. Onion rings weren’t freshly made. Chicken Cesar for $24 didn’t have fresh chicken or fresh croutons. Fries were good , everything else was mediocre at best.

Service was slow. Had to ask for water and soda refills after waiting for a while.

The TVs are awesome.

Highlands Sports Bar is an awesome spot to unwind! The staff is super friendly, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is always fun. One of the best parts is the line dancing — it’s an absolute blast, especially with @linedancinglisa leading and @djshivers keeping the music going. Whether you’re there to dance, watch a game, or just grab a drink with friends, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Got the smash burger and was looking forward to it but when I cut into it the thing was still mooing on the plate! Not sure iv been anywhere they cook burgers rare and I do mean rare so that for me turned me off the fact it was a $25.00 burger and the server never came near our table after she dropped the food off. Not sure if I’d try this place again but if you do and u like ur burger cooked make sure to tell em cause they won’t ask!! All in all not a great experience

The food needs some work. My salad with chicken and shrimp was only OK, and it was $30. Service was pretty good. Chips and guacamole was a rip off. TVs are cool with lots of seating.

Still in the soft opening phase, had a great time. It’s the perfect spot to watch the game with TV’s on every wall, but it’s not distracting if you’re just there to have a good time with friends. The menu is rather full for a soft opening, and I was so happy to see an abundance of “GF” and “VEG” on the menu without having to ask. Our waitress was super friendly, and our food came out at a very reasonable pace considering how busy it was. Looking forward to how this place progresses!

We had the chicken pesto sandwich wich was dry and not much flavor. The calamari was over battered with no flavor as well. The service was good but for the price we won’t be back.
