Awesome home cooked meal. They were short staffed but made up for it with great service. The ice cream machine broke while we were there, but the cake and cobbler were so good we didn’t care. The little burger steaks with bacon on top were amazing. And the kids got to get a little prize from the treasure chest after. Take a walk in the park after supper and watch the ducks

I was in here for about 4 minutes. It was dark, smelled bad when you walk in. There was a shop for fishing gear and men’s shirts when you open the doors. I thought I was in the wrong building for a minute. I looked around at the food. Everything smelled so bad. It looked like there was no seasoning on any of the vegetables. They were 100% from a can. The chicken was extremely dried up. The salad looked really bare, plain and old. This is straight up hospital food, and I know they cater to a certain demographic (elderly people) because there’s a shuttle out front for the restaurant. Everyone in there was old. You couldn’t pay me to eat here. I worked in the restaurant business for a while and I know when stuff isn’t worth the money. 12$ for the buffet. I’m going to have nightmares about this place tonight. I wish i’d never ran into the old lady that suggested this place to us.

Awesome buffet! Salad bar was very nice and the stroganoff and veggies were delicious. Giant glasses of tea and the dessert bar is not to be missed. Tried the cobbler and bread pudding both! Yummmm! Don’t miss this gem in Burnet!

Not a real fancy place but has a little charm. Four of us had the lunch buffet with tea and the bill was $52 with tax. The waitress was prompt with our drinks and refills at the table. Food was buffet style with a good variety of fresh veggies, meats and salad bar.

I think we came to eat here on a bad day. We had a group and were patiently waiting to ask if we could get a few tables together. The waitress practically yelled at us that she was the only one there and couldn’t help us. Wow. So we all just sat at separate tables, which is fine. She really was the only one there, she had to get all the drinks and check everyone out. I understand that maybe a few people didn’t show up for a shift, but do not take that out on customers. The buffet was constantly out of stuff, and honestly food was awful. Like I said, this was probably just a bad day for this place, but we definitely won’t be back.

No STEAK! which is why I came here …kinda strange, you walk into clothing and fishing supplies … after u get thru those people you get to a cashier who tells ya there is NO STEAK … only a buffet …. buffet was good..checking out the lady at cashier held us all up talking to folks who had already check out about fishing … finally the very irritated man in front of me waiting to check out said something about us having to wait … she continued to talk to the others while checking us out …. no thank you, nothing

Stopped on Sunday, no big crowd or wait. Buffet was good and well stocked, the price was a little higher than expected. If that is normal price for buffet. It’s too high.

Stopped in here after the spartan race. We both got the rib eyes and they were great. The service and food both turned out well so no complaints will be back next time we are in town.

So good! Came here at about 4:30 with only one person in the whole place. Feeling pretty reluctant and expecting a bad experience with old crusty food, I gave it a shot anyway. Wow! What an awesome meal, every single thing I ate was good, better than good actually. Food did not taste old or look old even considering the time of day for a buffet. Great job! Can’t wait to come back again when I am in town.
