This was our first visit to Highland Tap and Tables and we will definitely be returning very soon. The place is very warm and cozy. The food is outstanding, we started with the boom boom shrimp and loved it. The food is everything you would expect it to be and more. Very impressed! The staff was excellent too. Looking forward to trying more from the very diverse menu. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended.

me and my boyfriend made a reservation for a valentines dinner, and it was a great experience ! i had ordered the korean bbq shrimp bowl, and he had ordered the crispy brussels sprout salad with chicken ! as well as the general tso’s cauliflower. everything was delicious, although the appetizer did not come out until after our entrees (which we didn’t mind). the manager was courteous enough to take it off of our bill, which we absolutely appreciated. our server was amazing as well. only thing i’d say is that the place felt a little crammed with the table spacing, and you could hear the kitchens music from where we sat. all in all, it was a great valentine’s dinner!

My date and I reserved our table four weeks in advance and we were constantly being asked to confirm we were still planning on dining that night. We arrived on time. Ordered our meals and were told 15 minutes later that they were out of the one meal. So my date had to re-order something else. An hour and a half later we were “politely” asked to leave as other reservations were waiting for a table. This restaurant has a lot of management issues. First and last time I will dine there. The only compliment I have goes to the chef or we might have asked for a complete refund.

So to be fair – the food was good but not great. The chili was excellent and the burger had good flavor. The fries were soggy and clearly not fresh. The Cajun chicken was bland and flavorless. The French onion soup was good but needed more salt as the broth was only ok. The chicken salad was good and tender but also needed more salt. Overall the food was good but for the price point, I wouldn’t go back. There are much better options for the same or less money.

While service and atmosphere are important, those aren’t why I go to a restaurant and therefore they carry only some weight when reviewing dining.
I got the French onion soup, the Cajun pasta, and house brewed iced tea. The French onion soup had a nice touch with French fried onions on top. It was generously coated in melted cheese and nicely portioned. The broth was decent albeit underwhelming from a flavor perspective. After a quick dash of salt a more palatable result was achieved.
The Cajun pasta was grossly underwhelming with no notable flavor of any kind. The chicken was poorly seasoned and the dish rather dry. I have not returned a meal in many years at any dining establishment, but today was the exception. A good blackened chicken should be well seasoned and grilled to 165 degrees before slicing and adding to the dish. A proper Cajun cream sauce begins with a reduced and reasonably concentrated chicken broth base, heavy cream, finely grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and a proper addition of cayenne pepper for some heat. The replacement burger I got was okay, but also lacking flavor and depth.
The iced tea was perfect. Bold and flavorful and sweetened with simple syrup to perfection.
I do not intend to return despite the name which would lead one to believe you could expect something rather inspiring. Properly seasoning food is key and every dish lacked flavor. The staff were awesome, but I cannot eat awesome. Taste is unique to each individual and for mine it is lackluster. Make your own decision and let your review accordingly.

Had an early dinner there and it was pretty good. Service was attentive. We were seated and there was ice water waiting for us. Order was taken and appetizers were placed. We ordered the homemade chips and a plate of peal and eat shrimp. Shrimp were tasty and not too spicy. I have never seen them served in a broth with bread before but wasn’t disappointed. Food came out pretty fast and was presented well. I had the steak sandwich with bacon with chips. It tasted alright. Sort of dry. Needed horseradish or a an aujus sauce. The other dishes my tables ordered were the salmon and vegetable medley which tasted really good and the crab cake/seafood salad sandwich. From the kids menu we ordered the salmon and french fries that were seasoned really well. Prices were on the higher end. We did enjoy our meal but I would order something different next time. Update 8-19-25 Early do nwr and got the wings with the Chili sauce and the fish bites. Both were delicious. Great service and good atmosphere. Never feel rushed to leave which I really appreciate.

Went for lunch with my husband and infant. It had a really nice atmosphere and the waiting staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was good. The boom boom shrimp was delicious however, our main entrees had some minor issues. I ordered the bacon jam burger which was delicious however my burger was overcooked compared to what I had asked for so some parts were very dry. My husband ordered the blackened salmon BLT and he said it was delicious as well but his top bun was as hard as a rock. He just ate it open face.

Met a friend here for dinner. The restaurant is a little difficult to find as it is in the club house it a golf course but there is plenty of signage.
Everything we had was amazing. Absolutely no complaints about any of the food. Especially the crab dip. I wanted to order it as my entree after finishing it as an appetizer. Our service was impeccable. I had asked for a French 75 and though the bartender had never made one, they tried. The manager came over to find out how it was.

Found this place on Door Dash and figured we’d give it a try. We ordered the short ribs ragu and it was seriously absolutely amazing! Also had the Bavarian pretzel, crab dip, and strawberry cheesecake, all three of which were equally delicious. Portions were very large as well. Will definitely continue to order from. Thank you!
