Reliable neighborhood bar with great bartenders. Fridays during lent they have a semi-limited fryer menu because they are selling so much fish because it’s a great deal, quick & good. Its beer battered & fried. Its pretty large. For take out, ask for the bun to be on the side and to not salt your fries or put the salt seasoning on the side (they can be a little salty but if you have a beer in hand, you’re good to go).

If your looking for a place to go and have a few drinks; play some pool or darts, look no further. This is the place for you. Highland is a nice little hole in the wall that all the locals know and love. Not very big but bigger than it looks. It’s only got one pool table and dart board, but we take turnes like good kids to use it. There a couple tables to sit and enjoy or sit at the bar and get funky with the bar. Lol it’s a good time.

I just wanna know why the bartender cashed out on a Wednesday night at 12:45, whenever the bar door clearly states 2:00. I like to stop for a drink after work because I get off at 11:00 and i commonly rely on highland, but tonight I had a terrible experience. I showed up a couple minutes after twelve to buy a ToGo six pack, and the bartender tells me she already cashed out and there is no longer any cash in her drawer and she can’t even except my card. She then proceeded to asked me to come to the other local bar (Danny’s) with her to get drinks. I think she closed the bar early because she wanted to go drinking her self, and because of that decision I didn’t get the service I was hoping. This is extremely unprofessional and I hope you address this immediately. Or at least adjust your hours as needed so your staff has a chance to go out and drink themselves, not close your bar early so they can go out. Your employees are costing you money and ruining my usual routine. I like this business because it’s been around forever but, I really think there’s too much slack in the rope, and the employer really should think about getting some new help in the most professional & polite way.

The Highland Bar is such a nice place to kick back and relax. They have such awesome cooks the food is always good I have never had a bad experience. This is a smoker friendly bar. I have to give a shout out to the bartenders always on point at their busiest times you can see they always greet everyone when they can with a friendly face especially melonie she takes such good care of everyone at the bar and the tables. I would highly recommend this little place for good times and food.

Great bar! Steady to busy daytime crowd and pretty lively night time crowd. Bartenders and staff are a chill bunch and all the food is solid, but the wings are the best. You can smoke inside and the drinks are well priced.

A nice local tap room. Cigarette and cigar friendly, been the same for decades. A friendly bar tender, good food, good service. Free parking, casual, clean and not expensive. Good draught beer selection, simple bar menu and for served quick and hot. I like it.
