Extremely basic restaurant. I feel like I’ve stepped back in time here, like the 1960’s-1970’s. No frills – part of the restaurant is a bar. Down home type of feel place. Basic tables, chairs, booths, atmosphere – but food is really good & generous portions. Daily specials.

Tried it for the first time the other day. It’s apparently everyone’s favorite spot because the waitress never stopped running around, but there was never more than a few minute wait for people. Even though every seat was full, the kitchen did great producing food. My meal was delicious and a bigger portion than I thought! I definitely will be back!

Pretty good comfort food. The atmosphere is usually nice and lively. I remembering stopping in for lunch as a high school student and being treated fairly.

Delicious balsamic dressing and standard, solid spaghetti and meatballs. Tasty mozzarella sticks! Very classic and filling meal. Reliable, safe, traditional food. Nothing too exciting or scrumptious, but satisfying.

Terrific local spot in Pittsfield. Family size portions here and great service. Sausage, Peppers and Onions with Spaghetti was great here and some left for later on. Been open since 1936 and the there was definitely a strong regular presence a good sign.

Came to eat dinner with family, staff were all very nice. The interior is old fashioned, seating is mostly 4 seater booths. We had fried mushrooms and chicken tenders with wing sauce, the mushrooms were good the chicken was so so. Our salads were good. We has chicken parmesan and real parmesan, chicken was good but spaghetti sauce was bland. The veal was meh, you could tell it was from frozen. We did get fresh french bread which was good.

Spaghetti sauce is great if by spaghetti sauce you mean opening a can of plain tomato sauce and dumping it on some pasta. Chicken Parmesan was a frozen chicken patty with a melted slice of mozzarella topped with the same spaghetti sauce. Wildly uninteresting food. However service was impeccable. Drinks were very good. I will have to try it again someday- maybe their non pasta dishes are really good
