I’ll start by saying I’m not really a hot beverage person, but my friends convinced me to go, and I’m so glad they did! We all ordered the Queen’s Tea, and everything was so good. I had the orange cranberry black tea and asked for lemon slices, which they happily brought over. Even someone who usually skips hot beverages (me!) loved it.

The scones were warm and fresh, and all the finger sandwiches, mini hors d’oeuvres, and desserts were so yummy. I honestly never thought I’d say I was full from a tea house, but here we are! On top of that, the staff was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Such a fun, cozy & warm outing — we will definitely go again!

We had my daughter’s baby shower here last week and it was a huge success! Michael and Laura made the planning so easy. The venue is beautiful and was decorated for fall with flowers on every table, so set up was a breeze. The food and service was excellent and everyone ( guys included) had a wonderful time.
Highly recommend!

This place exceeded my expectations it is truly a hidden gem . Laura and her son was so helpful and friendly in helping me plan the best bridal shower for my daughter. The service and the food was A+, and the whole staff was extremely attentive. If you are looking for a place to have a function or just want to have lunch with tea this is definitely the place. You will not be disappointed. Also caters to gluten intolerance, my sister was so elated to eat something that she could eat and taste so good ( as you know most gluten products taste like cardboard) High Society Tea came through for the gluten intolerance crowd . My daughter was very pleased and felt like she was the Queen as she should for her bridal shower . Thank you again High Society Tea for a lovely experience.

What a lovely experience! A really charming teahouse with a great tea selection and wonderful service. My friend has a soy allergy and the staff was so nice during our holiday visit. They double checked the ingredients for her on the prefixe menu and offered alternatives for few items. Really great food and would love to visit again!

This place is a gem! We had a large party and they set the table to pretty! Absolutely adored the little teapots with, what we called “sweaters”. Their tea selection is top tier and with so many selections. Those scones, a must try! Highly recommend this place for a tea party affair with your friends and loved ones. Our experience was 10/10.

I recently visited High SociaTea 02/27/2026 with a group for an event. The tea and small snacks were good, and our waitress provided a good service.

However, my experience took a very negative turn at checkout. My primary card declined several times for reasons I’m still unsure of, so I had to use a different card. Because of that issue, the amount I was able to put on the second card was limited. I left a tip based on what I was able to charge at the time.

After we left, the waitress came out into the parking lot yelling, accusing me of not leaving a fair tip and questioning whether we thought her service was good enough. Her approach was aggressive and hostile. To have seen my card declining you would hope that there would be some understanding.

I spent close to $300 supporting this establishment and even purchased additional items to take home. There was no consideration for the payment issue I experienced, and being confronted in that manner was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, I will not be returning.

BEWARE: Confirm pricing before booking

We had a 4:00 PM reservation on December 7th for 2 adults and 3 children under age 10, booked by phone. At no point during the reservation call, upon arrival, or during the meal were we told that this was a special holiday event priced at $60 per person, with no children’s pricing, even for preschool-age kids.

No menu or pricing was provided at the table. We only learned of the cost at checkout, which was extremely surprising given the pricing publicly listed elsewhere. We expected to pay $21.95 per child. Imagine our shock to be charged $60 (for a 4 year old who barely even ate anything!)

That said, the tea itself was enjoyable, and we really appreciated their ability to accommodate gluten-free and nut allergies, which they handled well. The variety of teas was impressive.

Afterward, I emailed the owner to raise these concerns and was told he would look into it, but I never received a follow-up. He said the pricing is on their website and social media but on their website it’s buried in the events page and I don’t follow their social media. I made a phone call and booked a tea reservation and didn’t expect to have to cross reference multiple online sources for accurate pricing. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and follow through overshadowed the experience and left us with a pour taste for what should have been a lovely holiday treat.

Strongly recommend confirming exact price per person and asking specifically about event pricing when booking by phone, especially around holidays.

The tea was tasty, the scones were excellent and the atmosphere was very charming. Unfortunately, there was one waitress for 10 tables. We waited 26 minutes before we asked if she would help us. When we turned over our teacups they were disgusting. Instead of just apologizing, the waitress tried to tell me that’s the way the cup is supposed to be! The second cup was also slightly dirty (I brought it to bathroom and washed it myself).
