We have been coming here once a weekend for hunting the past month. It is our new FAVORITE place. They have amazing mimosas. The food is even better. We are picky about having good food, so I would say we are tough critics. This place exceeds all expectations. Gordon Ramsay would give it a thumbs up…. 10 out of 10!!!

Had an excellent meal here this morning. Coffee was good and the waitress was very good at keeping my cup full. The meal was exactly what I hoped for and was under $20. Lots of other places in the world now you cannot even eat there for less than $20. The most significant thing that I will note about this restaurant is the fact that it is very clean, tidy, and well kept. From the dining area to the washroom it is very clear someone has taken a great deal of pride in the upkeep of this establishment. Very comforting to see this these days. I will absolutely be stopping here next time that I am through Newell.

We had a very large group of Shriners eat there service was good but the orders came out very slow but we all were told this in the beginning. One cook prepared each group of 4s meal. The place was just not created to serve big groups. The good was fabulous.

We were driving thru and stopped her on our way out and back in and it was excellent both times. It’s a ma and pa kind of feel with home cooking but excellent flavor and choices. They had great espresso and cheesecake, Ruben, sweet potato fries, and burgers! We both loved both our meals. Good prices too! This place has home made pie cheesecake and soup and ice cream it’s overall really great. We were impressed 🙂 two thumbs up

We had intended to visit another restaurant but it wasn’t open. The menu was a little different than what is on line. We got a brisket sandwich which was amazing, but the burger was way over cooked and dry, and the bun was toasted too much for my liking. Just a personal preference. All in all a decent experience. Not sure I would get a burger if I were to go back but they smoke their own brisket so that’s a plus.

I had the green chile skillet. It was outstanding. Comes on a crazy hot cast iron skillet. Despite being warned I did burn myself on it. The green chile really made the dish.

Stopped in for lunch with a colleague yesterday and had The Prairie Chicken. It was amazing! The jalapeno artichoke spread and the perfectly toasted ciabatta bun were home runs. Can’t wait to go back and try breakfast and dinner.

What a gem. Nicely decorated inside. Good menu for food and drinks. I have to imagine this is a hot spot for the locals. It worked out perfect for us as we traveled with a long trailer as the large parking lot allowed enough room to park.
