Hands down the best Indian food in Oakland. Literally everything we ate was good and we shared 7 dishes. Highly recommend!

Amazing. Our regular spot for Indian food. Although their chicken vindaloo is not what you get when traditionally ordering the dish at an Indian restaurant, it is the best “Indian food” dish I have ever had and can’t find it replicated anywhere else. Usually chicken vindaloo is bright red (a mix of chilis and vinegar) whereas high peaks version had much more diverse spices and wasn’t so spicy you started swearing.

Ordered delivery, everything arrived quickly and was still hot. The naan was pretty good, but chicken tikka masala was the driest I’ve ever had — just solid rock hard cubes of chicken that are pretty much inedible. The lamb was really dry as well, but I’ve never had chicken this bad before today. Don’t order from these guys, there are better places out there worth your support.

Absolutely loved it! We ordered dal tadka, mushroom masala and chicken tikka masala. The food was homely and delicious. Ambience was spot on—The nicest people who served with so much love!

The food tasted pretty good, the chicken tikka masala was a bit dry, but overall we enjoyed our dinner. The only downside, is that the person at the register wore her mask on her chin, and only when ringing the customers she pulled it up. I was slightly nervous eating the food and had to put it in my plates at home. I’ll probably wait till covid is over to eat there again.

Most disappointing meal in a long time. Ordered take out – samosas, paneer matter, bhindi, palak daal, and garlic naan. Samosas were delicious, but the rest of the food was truly completely flavorless. The most bland Indian food I’ve ever tasted, as if not a single spice was used in preparing it. I even took a covid test afterwards thinking that was why (was negative).

Very warm and welcoming hospitality. The food was good, spice level customizable. Bhindi masala was the highlight of our meal.
