The pricing is outrageous for the portion sizes and quality of food, their Cole slaw is dry with no flavor, the burnt ends plate was dry and very tough The Mac n cheese is thin and watery with almost no flavor, the pulled pork was dry, Sauce less and flavorless. Overall the toast without butter and the baked beans were the best part of the meal.

Saturday night. One of the busiest nights. Product should have been prime for the patrons. It was by far the worst brisket I’ve ever had. Was totally cooked at least one day previous and just put in a broth to keep warm. Completely cooked through and the only flavor was in the sauce. Sorry, don’t do this to small businesses, but $35 for that is irritating. Tipped before I knew what i got.

I was really disappointed with my visit to High on the Hog. I ordered the brisket mac and cheese, expecting something rich and flavorful, but it had absolutely no taste—the brisket was bland and the mac was dry. To make things worse, the price I saw on their website was lower than what I was charged in person. When I brought it up, they admitted their menu was outdated but still refused to honor the listed price. Between the flavorless food and the poor customer service, I won’t be coming back.

Super disappointed. I ordered the Mac and cheese with tri tip. There was ZERO cheese on the macaroni. The tri tip tasted and looked like it had been boiled. No seasoning whatsoever. Paid $16. I don’t think I’ll be returning

For the barn location – way overpriced. Staff isn’t knowledgeable on food allergies (gluten, dairy), food portions are super small and quality is really average. There are far better places to go in Albany.

As a Texas transplant to Corvallis the BBQ options are slim to none.
I ordered the brisket plate with Mac & Cheese and this was easily the worst of both dishes I have ever tried. The brisket was touch, dry, and flavorless. The Mac was disappointing the moment it touched my tongue.
The best thing we had from them was the plain toast.

Went in for lunch and it was made surprisingly fast and the sandwich I got was Super amazing. I will definitely be going back there soon to try different things

Brisket plate was mostly fat, sauce was bland would be better from a bottle. My daughter’s burnt end sandwich was all fat and not edible. Sides of Mac/cheese and slaw were not very good.
