Was in downtown Boise, and one of the restaurants we usually go to was out of their vegan burgers. So, we decided to try this place instead.
The drinks, food, and service were incredible. Everything on the menu is completely vegan, which is hard to find in the area. My partner, who isn’t vegan, even loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back.

My sister in law, who is vegan, loves this place. As a non-vegan I enjoyed it. I got the plate of nachos. Plenty of food, which was nice and while I would’ve preferred chicken on my nachos, I recognize that the appeal of this place is the fact that they don’t have chicken. It was still tasty. So all in all, it’s a good vegan restaurant that even non-vegans can enjoy.

I have been vegan for 5 years, a foodie my whole life. So when I say that this place instantly became my new favoritest (of all time) place to eat, I mean it with my whole heart. The service was wonderful, so attentive, friendly, and helpful! The atmosphere was fun, we LOVED the art on the walls and the music. But the food, I cannot stress enough how good it was. I’m a seasoned cook and I left questioning how I could ever match the deliciousness that we had. The portion sizes and prices are incredible too. We got so full from half our meal and the leftovers held together so well. I cannot stop thinking about the caesar salad. I have desperately missed them since I went vegan and this one was BETTER than any one I have ever had before. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was amazing! Cannot wait to go back!

A little pricey but the portions are crazy so it’s fine. I got a steak poblano wrap and it was delicious, as was the orange hot tea I got. $5 for the tea and $17 for the wrap, but the wrap was the size of my head and the tea came in a pot that poured about 4 cups, so ounce for ounce a really good price. Really cute place, staff was great.

One of those places which serves plant based food but doesn’t compromise on taste. Service is a little slow but definitely recommend the place for its food.
We tried their Loaded Nachos, and Breakfast Burrito. Both dishes really good. Among the food we ordered, we didn’t like their Tomato Basil Soup w/ Toast
Their Beverage selection is a must try. Highly recommend the Fresh pressed Berry & Herb Juice, Berry & Herb Lemonade, and the Idaho Kombucha

Vegan only restaurant. Small space that is well designed and comfortable, ambiance is on point.
Food was delicious! Drinks were superb. Friendly staff.
We went on a Saturday and there was only one server for all of the tables. If the restaurant had a flat top, not griddles, to cook the food with, I could see the process speeding up. It’s worth the wait, but we were there 2.5 hours, an hour longer than a typical restaurant.

So far I’ve eaten at High Note Cafe once, a couple weeks ago. I have wanted to try them for a while, but we usually order delivery through Door Dash or the like. According to the High Note Cafe website, they “do not participate with third party online ordering” which is a shame because I really liked their food!! It was a hot day, but still nice enough to sit outside. Their outdoor seating area only has a few small tables, but there was a canopy over a couple of them so we had a pleasant time. To drink, I had my server’s recommendation: a mix of their jasmine green and hibiscus iced teas. So perfect on a hot summer afternoon~ To eat, I ordered the French dip and the tomato coconut basil soup, the latter being served with the same housemade bread that the French dip was made with. That BREAD ✨ The server (who was awesome all around) asked if it was alright that the soup order was basically going to double my bread intake, but after I ate it, I was sooo happy that I got so much. It was somehow both hearty and light, crumbly and robust, just the most amazing texture and flavor. I’m definitely ordering another bread thing next time I visit, which will be quite soon, since I’m keeping High Note Cafe on my Sunday lunch date rotation! The only negative was that my French dip sandwich wasn’t very dippable. The filling fell out constantly, whether trying to dip or just taking a bite (I started spooning the dip onto the sandwich, which did help a bit) so my hands were just covered in filling and sauce by the end. Since the sandwich was so mindblowingly delicious, I wasn’t put off by it, but I would like if there was some way to make the sandwich dippable, lol. Other than that, I had a great time here (quick mention that the soup was also stunningly delicious; never would have thought to put tomato with coconut but it WORKS ) and I can’t wait to go back!
P.S. They give a discount if you pay with cash; something to keep in mind for the budget-conscious.
Update, 30 July 2023: Ate inside this time! It’s a bit small but cozy and fun. The French Dip is no longer on the brunch menu. It was replaced with something much less messy: the “Habanero Hominy Queso-Rito”. The arugula was distractingly bitter against the rest of the ingredients but overall it was super yummy and I’d order it again! The crispy tortilla was sooo delicious~ For my drink this time, I tried the Blueberry Basil Lemonade, which was sweet, fragrant, and cold, perfect for a hot summer day!

I had such a good meal with a friend here! The options were just amazing. Being able to get locally-made kombucha in a unique flavor as well as fresh juice was a highlight for me.
Service was amazing! I liked being able to sit outside. We originally were seated inside but changed our mind and they were super cool about us moving outside.

I was looking for a brunch place before my flight home and stumbled upon this sweet cafe. I was unaware it was vegan until I sat down and looked at a menu. The tofu breakfast burrito was great and I’ve never enjoyed tofu, until now. The server was very sweet.
My only feedback was the music was a bit rough to listen to, I’m unsure what it was—potentially EDM. Regardless, we all have different tastes in music and I’d highly recommend stopping and eating at High Note Cafe. VEGAN OR NOT!!
