Went in just before 3 on a Tuesday out of curiosity and was not disappointed. My wife got the guava and cheese turnover and I wound up with a chocolate macha croissant the size of my head. It was absolutely decadent. I did wind up losing my chocolate chips from the top, but I honestly didn’t need them. It was perfectly toasty, flaky and sweet. I got to try a bite of my wife’s turnover and it was also wonderful. The flavors of the cheese, guava and puff pastry came together to make the perfect bite. It was a little pricey, but one hundred percent worth every cent. Definitely looking forward to dragging our little girl in there and letting her pick out a sweet. 10/10 definitely have to do again.

I am SO GLAD that we tried this new bakery for lunch. They had the best sandwiches, and everything was reasonably priced. There are three 2-person tables for inside seating. We were able to pull two tables together for our group of four. The baked goods looked good too. We will definitely be back for lunch again.

Super new & clean store to start. Great on site owners, Marvin was knowledgeable, friendly & a professional of his craft. I was looking for french pastry and living in Ellijay there is not a selection of such things around town. I brought home a Spinach & feta Danish a Swedish kanelbullar a bread pudding square & a hot Italian sandwich…Every single item was delicious & super fresh, beautifully baked and hand crafted. I will be back soon!! I Would Highly recommend this bakery for lunch or a delicious snack!

Great scones and croissants. Cranberry Walnut bread was yummy. Wish there were a few smaller selections. I purchased several sweet selections for my book club. They were kind enough to cut them in half because they were huge. Not sure the folks would have grab such a huge one to eat during our discussions. I will be a return customer.

I popped in for a quick bite to eat before a hike. The croissants were buttery and flakey. Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The filling for the almond croissant was delicious and pretty much like a pip-able marzipan. The filling in the apple and cheese danish was spiced perfectly. Be sure to grab a guava lemonade or cold brew coffee. The creators and bakers at High Mountain Bread are putting out their best. I even had to go back again to grab a couple of loaves to bring back home on my way out of town.

Yummy and scrumptious are the two words I would use to describe all the items at High Mountain Bread. There are many varieties of bread but people may not realize they make special sandwiches each day. It is a great place to get a good meal for lunch or breakfast. Many choices of quiche, bakery items, and even bagel bites. Check them out and you won’t regret it!

Stopped here for lunch and had an amazing Italian Sandwich. The bread isn’t overly dense or tough, which is something I’ve run into in other sandwich shops. The Guava Lemonade is also great. Highly recommend.

You would never know this is a new bakery, they produce phenomenal baked goods like pros that have been in business for years! We were in from out of town and they stayed late so we could pick up our order. Once we walked in and saw what they had, we bought more! From the Country loaf to the croissants, everything was perfection!

Great customer service and their croissant bread and sour dough bread is outstanding. . Croissant bread is a must for French toast and the sour dough isn’t rock hard the next day, held up for about a week
