Located right next to the Hill City Depot at the historic 1880 Train, the High-Liner Eatery offers many locally sourced and organic options that are made fresh daily. Items may be enjoyed on the covered patio, taken on the train, or taken with you. Our friendly staff will provide speedy service and make sure you don’t miss your train departure. Snack and drinks are also sold onboard the train!

They are absolutely disinterested in customers – too much work probably.
When we sat down for lunch at 1:25 pm, the lady came out, closed all order windows, move the chairs to the tables around us, walked away, and closed the restaurant (they are supposedly closing at 2:00pm).
Five minutes later, at 1:30, the train arrived, and several dozen people came over, trying to eat lunch, but – closed.
Guess she didn’t feel like feeding 30 customers.
I wonder if the owner ever wonders that nobody eats lunch there from the train crowd…

I got a hot dog and then I gotta look at the pork tacos my friend was eating, and when he wasn’t looking, I took a bite. Quite tasty.Indeed.He was pretty mad when I ate most of his lunch! Real crumbled, cheese. None of that cornstarch coated orange shredded crap. Pork tacos for me next time!
