The buffet food wasn’t out of this world, but nothing was bad. Overall, you go for the experience. Set up in an old sugar shack on a maple syrup farm, this place was adorable. Everything was served cafeteria style. Parking is a bit of an adventure

This place is so cute! The best deal around for a sugar shack breakfast:you get eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, home fries, french toast, and pancakes….. and it’s all you can eat. The staff is super friendly. The owner is the nicest guy you ever meet. And the view is beautiful… located by a babbling brook.

Loved this place! First time we went this morning and had a great breakfast with some awesome maple syrup and a fantastic chat with the owner. We will be back to this gem in the fall.

The best pancakes! The best French toast! The best ham, sausage, bacon and eggs you’ll ever have. And all topped off with the yummiest maple syrup hot off the trees. This place ought to be called High Sweet Sugar Farm. After all, it is. And owned by a family who is obviously proud of what they do. And it shows. Come to High Hopes Farm this and any sugar season for your sweet taste of fresh pure maple syrup. You won’t be disappointed!

Great people. Good buffet. I love going to High Hopes during October. Brian’s son Calibe does a great job decorating the place for Halloween. I LOVED the Ham. The bacon and linked sausage and pumpkin spice pancakes were good. I had OJ and good coffee. The gift shop has all kind of Chotskees (sic) and a big bag of Maple Sugar Cotton Candy for $5.00. Breakfast is all you can eat. Worth it to us!

This is going to be a staple of my son’s childhood.
In an ambling drive around the hilltowns, my wife and I saw a sign for a Sugar Shack Buffet this past Summer. After some Googling, we decided to revisit in the Fall. Well, we went this past weekend, and it was everything I hoped it would be and more.
The food here is pretty good. It’s not going to blow your hair back, but it’s fairly priced and there is nothing wrong with it. The syrup is excellent and brings everything together wonderfully. The ambience is fantastic. From the haunted house entryway to the rocks on the floor, this whole experience is greater than the sum of its parts. The staff are all super friendly, the owner walks around chatting with guests, and all the young people they’ve employed to serve and clean up have surprisingly upbeat demeanors.
I can not recommend this enough. If I lived in the area, we’d go every weekend. As it stands, we’ll try to make it a bi-yearly thing. 10/10, highly recommend.
