Wonderful little local eatery with vintage flair! They switch from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu at 11am, so don’t want too long if you want eggs, pancakes, or french toast. I had a seafood salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll, and it was great! I bought a local history book, and the author and proprietor, Mrs. Higbee, personally autographed it! Wonderful place, and I look forward to returning!

One of the best hidden gems is South Jersey. Small, relaxed venue for breakfast and lunch. Family run with great folks. Takes me back 30 years ago to the mom and pop coffee shops.

Stopped in with a few friends. A hidden gem! It is so charming, warm and inviting. Counter seating at a legit old time luncheonette. You walk in, take a seat and the wonderful staff gets to work!
The food is delicious and the portions are massive. I had the clam boat, only $11. The cole slaw was creamy and seasoned perfectly. Definitely homemade. It was so yummy ! The service was fast. I forgot to snap pics of the menu.
Great prices! Family owned and operated. If you happen to be in Fortescue make sure you stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Great little restaurant in a little fishing village. Friendly service and a hearty breakfast. Our waitress was Tori, she’s a bright smiling face as soon as you walk in. She’s extremely friendly with everyone from the minute you walk in.
I uploaded their most recent menu below. Looks like the last time anyone loaded it was years ago. I’m sure the food is the same, but prices have most likely changed.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. Stayed in Fortescue for 4 days and got breakfast or lunch there every day. The flounder sandwich was the most fresh I ever tasted. Generous portions and reasonable priced. Highly recommend. Will come back to visit just for them!

8/19/23. We took a ride to get out and get lunch. Bi googled this place and I thought we stop. Very friendly people. Great food. We even bought a shirt. I had the cheeseburger. My wife had fish and fries. She loved the coleslaw.
We will be back.

Good breakfast and lunch spot. We got breakfast sandwiches to-go to enjoy while fishing from the shoreline. Conveniently next door is bait shop and nearby marina.

I love this place! The food is always good, and the staff are all so nice. The menu is very simple, the place is tiny and full of bric-a-brac, and there is a clowder of very amusing cats that will escort you from the back parking lot to the door if they have nothing better to do. The crab and lobster bisque was out of this world good, and the first cup of coffee always goes down quick.
