This is my go to place for sushi, they have excellent lunch specials and the fish is always very fresh. The temperature profile of the sushi a la cart options are exceptional. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I moved to the area a couple of months ago and am so excited to have discovered this restaurant so close to me. I have ordered take out many times at this point, although the restaurant is lovely with a cozy ambiance. I will eat there someday! The staff are very friendly.
They have affordable lunch and combination specials with everything you could want – rice, soup, salad, fried goodness, broccoli, and the dinners come with a sliced orange. I am addicted to their white rice. The shrimp tempura and katsu are not overly condimented and taste fresh, and are always perfectly crispy. The green mussels were a generous serving, meaty and so tasty. The shrimp shu mai and gyoza are very good. The maki rolls are also worth it, especially the 3x combo.

I’ve gone here for years but I will say the food quality has drastically decreased within the last 6 months or so. Not sure what’s going on but very disappointing.

Higashi is open again for in-person dining! We missed eating here so much, and we enjoyed our recent meal immensely. The food is just as good as ever. We often like to order a selection of appetizers for variety. Our favorites are the sushi, California rolls, gyoza, edamame, tempura, shrimp shumai. Their sushi fish is always fresh. The miso soup is the best ever. Nice people too!

Was craving sushi and Higashi delivered some delicious sushi. I ordered the cucumber roll and red dragon roll, fantastic. Miso soup and peppered steak was also good. To top it all off with dessert, the cheesecake was delicious also. Would have taken pics, but I was hungry. Spent about $50 even just for myself. Definitely recommend
