Portion sizes were smaller than what I anticipated from other pho places I’ve been to, however pho broth was super tasty! Deep fried shrimp was good however totally thought they were going to be the skewered shrimp for the price and description of it! Still the shrimp were crunchy and sauce was good!

Unfortunately, probably one of the worst pho places I’ve had in the area. Portions are small and overpriced. My regular size bowl was small. Their large size pho is as big as a regular size at other pho places. A 3 eggroll appetizer was $8.99. Spent $60 on just 2 pho bowls and 2 appetizers. The elderly lady (probably owner) that took our order told us she is going to automatically add 15% tip on our order. Um, okay. First time here and most likely my last.

I was looking for a place with Vietnamese food and I drove 40 minutes to come here, they speak Vietnamese, are VERY nice, the food was like it was cooked by my grandma. (I had Bun Bo Hue and my girlfriend had the Pho Bo [Beef], we also ordered the Deep Fried Tofu)

Love the taste of pho soup and grilled pork(in fact fried not grilled) but definitely overpriced, very slow service if you have plenty of time to spare it’s fine.

Unfortunately, very disappointed with the experience. My main criticism is how salty ALL the dishes were (both soups and noodle ones). Honestly, at times it was almost inedible it was SO salty. You always expect a little extra salt when you get food out in places but this was just unpleasant.

So, I was in the city market area and decided to stop on in for lunch. Let me say that I love Vietnamese food. When I came in I sat down at a table towards the front. I was asked by the person who served me to move. “Someone” was sitting there. Okay…sure. I’m directed to sit by the door. Got it. Was brought water but the service I received was noticeably different than those around me. There were two gentleman in the restaurant before me. The lady who was serving everyone was VERY pleasant towards them and another pair that came in later. Even referring to them as her “friends”. Meanwhile, I’m sitting by the door after I ordered the fried rice (was good but had to take it to go). The rice came out. No pleasantries, no asking if the water can be refilled. Fast forward five minutes. I’m finished eating and clearly waiting for the check and a to-go box. The lady had to come out and walk right past me at least five times. All the while providing excellent service to everyone else. Approximately, five minutes before she decided it was okay to even look my direction to close out my meal there where two young ladies who walked in AND SAT AT THE TABLE I WAS ASKED TO MOVE FROM! Nothing was said to them. Just excellent customer service. I almost left a $20 and walked out. I gave my card to settle the bill and she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to add a tip??!?! For what? I’ll never go back there. Food is overpriced too. Horrible experience.

Ate here with my 3 kids and a friend. It wasn’t very warm. The lady who greeted us was nice. They have a big selection but it is very over priced. The crab Rangoon is good. Charging $2.49 for a CAN of pop is beyond ridiculous! We ordered spring rolls and I expected them to be fried, but they were cold. When we finally got our food, mine was ok. It was rice with chicken, carrots and cabbage. I could’ve made this dish at home, and it was very salty! My daughter got soup with noodles, and she liked it. My son got fried rice and he liked that. My bill for 3 meals, 3 pops, crab rangoon and spring rolls was $83! That was with the 15% tip the lady put on the bill. We were the only customers there, and we were there for over an hour. Won’t be back.

Seemed nice. I liked my jasmine rice with tofu and house vegetables. The bathroom is down the sidewalk, not up the stairs.

This is a family-operated restaurant and I like the late 8pm closing, most other places in City Market close at 7pm. I ordered the fried spring rolls and the “bun bo hue” beef soup. Although they had flavors, the soup lacked several important ingredients. So I wasn’t too impressed with them. I’m probably not going to return anytime soon, but perhaps I should give them another visit to try out the pho.
