I Love a good dive bar. This is a good dive bar. There is a limited food menu, but the pool table and music don’t stop. Its a good place to drop by for a few drinks.

Never in my life have I seen a more unfriendly bartender. I get it, I’m not a regular, but at least be courteous and friendly.

Boy can they make a girl happy! The Shirley temple was just perfect, and the food was hot and fresh. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, and I’ll be back to cheer the guys on at the next pool game

Such a great, laid back, good old boys (and girls) afternoon lunch. Enjoyed our pre-shift Shirley temples and cheering the men on playing pool. We’ll be back, and maybe even try teaching the guys a thing or two

Bored on a Sunday night in La Grande, I decided to check out a local dive. I was excited because I read reviews and it seemed like their fried cheese curds were pretty good, so I decided to go out for a beer and a snack. When I arrived, the bartender didn’t mention a food menu, and only took my drink order. It was getting late for La Grande, so I figured that their kitchen was probably closed. I ordered a beer. The bartender didn’t ask if I wanted to open a tab. When I tried to pay with a card she said there was a $10 minimum. I probably would have stayed for another beer or two, but at this point I was annoyed. I did feel bad because I only had $6 cash on me, and my beer was 5.75, which means I was leaving a very shoddy tip. I probably won’t be back, the whole ordeal was awkward. The folks there seemed fun and I wouldn’t have minded spending more time there, but I didn’t feel particularly welcome

The vibe is nice and friendly. The place is clean but i ordered a drink the bartender didn’t know how to make, which was fine, except when she looked it up she discovered they didn’t have all the ingredients so she basically just made me booze water with lemon in it and didnt tell me till i mentioned that my husband had said the drink was a lot better then it was. Like thank you lady for charging me for something i didnt asked for. Kinda not cool. Should have just told me she couldn’t make it so i could order something else.

The bartender was very rude. She took my I.d., left without a word, went outside with it, then behind the bar. When she came back, she gave me a stern look and asked me if I had been drinking. It was very offensive as I was simply sitting there, and her tone was accusatory. My cousin whom I was with defended me, when she shouldn’t have had to. The bartender stated “well she looks off.” She had came back and apologized but I will never go back. My experience was not customer friendly with this particular bartender. My cousin mentioned she had looked as though she had been drinking, which would explain the abrupt attitude.
