Cute and conveniently located near Waikiki beach this hotel restaurant makes your experience enjoyable. The staff is friendly and prompt. The decor is the trendy island vibe you hope to be surrounded by in your Hawaiian paradise. Plus for those who like to vacation with their fur babies, it’s dog friendly too.

This place has a great atmosphere and I was so impressed by the bartenders. They were all amazing, so professional, fast, and organized. We walked in without a reservation and were told we could order at the bar and wait for bar seating or sit in the fire pit area with a server. We sat in the fire pit area. After nearly 20 minutes the fire pit area was full (15-20 people) and no one had come over. I tried to order at the bar and was told that wasn’t allowed because there is a server for where we were sitting. I went back and waited, but eventually we gave up and went to the bar. We got served there right away and it was a great experience. Little by little, most of the people in the fire pit area left or went to the bar too. It’s professional courtesy to just say “it’ll be 30 minutes” or whatever the reality of the situation is.

This is one of the places we asked a local about, and it did not disappoint. It’s actually tucked away in a hotel to which I can’t remember it’s name, but it was a very good find, fantastic music. Oh yea, it started to rain, and they brought umbrellas out to us. It stopped shortly after, but thought that was pretty cool.

F* yeah is my impression! Our server Jerrod is a delight, the spot is super cool, full of people, has great ambiance, and (on Friday and Saturday) live music. It was refreshing and so chill, we enjoyed a couple of hours there.

We went on a Tuesday and it was absolutely amazing. There was live music. Melaniie and Jroq were AMAZING! The service from Jerrod was top notch, and the food was delicious. The Hideout was a nice gem that we stumbled upon as we were walking. We will definitely go back.

Man, my bf and I loved this place that we had to go there twice during our four-night trip for dinner. They had an indoor and outdoor area for their patrons. The indoor area was mainly tables and chairs, while the outdoor place was more casual. The outdoor area had a couple of fire pits and lounge chairs for guests. They also have live music every night and we both loved Sierra Lucia and Melaniie. Both women had great voices and were very talented. We ordered their seasoned fries to start, and Kalbi bowl and the Kuhio bowl for our entrees. The seasoned fries were so good. It seasoned perfectly and had a nice kick. Both of our entrees had large portions that we didn’t even get to finish the whole thing. When we came back the following night, we decided to order several appetizers to share. We ordered the Brussel sprouts with pork belly, Kalua Egg Rolls, Sweet Chili Dumplings, and of course the fries. All of them were very good and we wished we did that on our first dinner there. Since I cannot have alcohol, I ordered their Mai Tai mocktail and the Pink Hawaiian. Both were very refreshing that I didn’t even care that they didn’t have alcohol. Oh yeah, btw, we both love our server, Jerrod. He was very warm and excellent at his job. I wish all servers were like him. Overall, will come back again esp on nights that Sierra Lucia and Melaniie are playing. It is a great place to relax, listen to music, nosh, have a drink, and enjoy your vacation.

This is a great spot to go. The bartenders are awesome and fun to be around. The food here is really good as well. They’ve got music every night. Definitely ask for the special sauce in the pic below. Goes on anything and just enhances the taste.

Hideout Restaurant is located on a beautiful terrace and you can choose between dining in a traditional table or in more relaxing and comfortable chairs/armchairs around a fire . Dinner was delicious, we had 2 mocktails both containing pineapple, some fries with a Japanese sauce as starter and 2 main courses, my husband had spicy Thai noodles and I had a vegetarian farro with mushrooms, various vegetables and creme fraiche.
