Excellent food and service despite being super busy. Friendly staff even in the face of a rude customer. Excellent sushi options. Delicious Thai options. Monster roll, Super spicy Tuna and Rock and Roll are favorites. Gyōza and steamed dumplings are perfect! Fried rice is the best in town. Thai coffee, tempura cheesecake and fried ice cream all delicious dessert options. Can’t recommend this place enough

I have eaten here many many times and wanted to bring my friend here before she left for NJ, because this Thai restaurants happened to be one of my favorites. I really don’t know what the problem was but I felt like an orphan regarding my meal. Between the server, not the waitress, I was regarded with little respect. I ordered the cucumber salad and there were no tomatoes. Server told me and argued that I ordered it that way. I didn’t. My friends who put their order in much earlier did though. I hadn’t a clue how they ordered, since they ordered before I arrived and was served when I got seated. I ordered Massaman which was yellow looking. I told the same person if it was made with yellow curry, instead of red? She told me that is how it is made. Well, I’ve been eating that dish for about 15 years at many Thai restaurants in NYC, NJ, and all over Florida and it’s the first I have ever had it with yellow curry. Server offer to return the dish. I give her kudos for that. Then we sat for about 10-15 minutes waiting for the server or waitress to ask us if we wanted anything else and give us boxes for our leftovers. They were busy talking and not paying attention to the tables. At this point of the evening it was 8 pm and not very busy. Last night’s dinner was a disappointment. Not so much for the incorrectly made meal, but for the attitude.

The prices for the lunch specials are great!!
I was immediately greeted and taken care of by the waiter Yo. He was so attentive helpful and polite. My order came out fast and fresh. And the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall GREAT experience! Definitely would return and recommend for sure.

Two of us ordered General Tso’s chicken. The breading on the chicken pieces was not completely cooked so it was mushy and awful. They charge a pretty high dollar for the level of quality that they deliver. Palmetto definitely needs a better option than this place. Not worth the money.
