We had our work Christmas party here on the 3rd- About 30 of us. The whole restaurant was decorated so beautifully for Christmas & their holiday cocktails were so fun. The private room upstairs was spacious and perfect for our event. We had our own bathrooms up there & plenty of room to set up raffles near the tree. We stopped in to see the Christmas decorations which were very nice. This is more bar than restaurant. All Hightops with only 2 low tables. We had to sit in front of the bathroom door. It was cold and uncomfortable in many ways. We asked to see the upstairs but was told no as there was a private party. We were there in advance of bringing a friend but I don’t think we’ll be back. That being said, it seems to be a very local hangout, the people were friendly and other patrons were enjoying themselves. We ordered chowder which was very good, a cajun chicken sandwich, very dry and one tiny, mushy stuffie. Service was good.

A huge shout-out to the manager, Ian. He was the picture of professionalism and clearly sets the highest standard for customer service. Seriously, his response was outstanding, and he completely turned a tiny issue into a reason to celebrate their great team. Thank you, Ian!
As for the meal, the food was just as impressive as the service. Our pizzas were absolutely delicious, the crust was perfect, and the appetizers were excellent—the perfect start. Plus, the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind; it’s just a great place to hang out.

Atmosphere is pretty and decorated for Christmas. The food (when and if you get it) was good. Was sitting at table for over an hour and a half waiting for food. Table that was here ahead of us asked to just box their food (they were waiting so long) & get check. Wait staff doesn’t even come and refill drinks and very inattentive. I don’t have plans of coming back. Which is too bad cause the food and atmosphere are good.
Edit to add: Owner/manager came to apologize for the inconvenience as a staff member called out and comped us for trouble.
Hopefully they get more staff and retrain the ones they do have because refilling drinks or apologizing/giving updates on food status is needed for the costumers.
