Had some delicious pizzas and great service during our most recent visit.
Frozen lemon pie desert for my appetizer followed by pizza. Mmmm.
Hand tossed crust was nice. Light and fluffy all the way to an easy to fold/chew or dip into ranch dressing “bone”.
We all tried house specials except for one standard cheese pizza lover!! No complaints and empty pie pans with only 4 slices to go when we were finished.
Mason took good care of us and we look forward to our next visit.

Where to start?? I’ve been enjoying Hideaway Pizza for the past 18 years or so, which coincides with my move to Oklahoma from Ohio back in September 2007.. I find it hard to believe that I haven’t reviewed the Norman location yet..
I was invited to attend this location’s soft opening, dating back to whenever that was, and maybe earlier, and haven’t had a bad experience here yet.. This review covers my last two visits..
On the first, for lunch a few weeks ago, I enjoyed a small Pepperoni Palooza with ham and a Just a Beginner Salad with creamy Italian dressing on the side.. I washed everything down with Corona, served in a frosted pint glass with a salted rim and lime..
The Palooza is my go-to pizza.. The copious amounts of different types of pepperoni and the hand-tossed crust is certainly my jam.. Everything about this pizza appeals to me.. The sauce has great flavor, the meats are fantastic, and the cheese is plentiful.. Hideaway, long ago, became my favorite pizza in central Oklahoma!!
The salads are always served fresh, cold, and crisp, and the creamy Italian dressing has a wonderful zest and flavor..
This evening my wife and I split a Turkey Bacon Club sandwich, a first for both of us, with potato chips and coleslaw slaw on the side..
The coleslaw was cold, crisp, creamy, and the cabbage and carrots were very finely chopped, just like my mom used to make.. It had a great flavor and I would certainly have it again..
The chips were crisp and lightly salted, a perfect complement to the sammich..
The sammich was amply portioned and served hot and fresh, the Italian white bread lightly toasted.. The combination of turkey, bacon, cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and the creamy Italian dressing was perfect.. We were delighted by how good this sandwich was.. We’ll definitely order it again in the future..
At the end of the day, Hideaway has long ago earned our business as repeat customers.. Between the wife and I we’ve dined at something like eight or so locations and haven’t had a bad experience at any of them.. Kudos to the management team for maintaining consistency across the chain!!

I’ve been waiting nearly 20 years to come back to Hideaway just to get The Boz. My husband went with the Aporkalypse, so we did a half-and-half… but honestly? Not quite how I remembered it. The flavor didn’t hit like it used to—definitely going back soon to build my own custom combo.
Now let’s talk about those fried mushrooms…
Golden. Crispy. Juicy. Straight-up stole the show. I could eat a whole tray solo.

First time dining at this location, it did not disappoint!! Great service, greeted at the door by very friendly staff. They were very fast to seat us, waitress was very friendly and polite. Mushrooms were great as always our pizza was cooked perfectly. We will return to this location again. Great job Hideaway!!

Ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with a Cesar salad as my side. There was a giant piece of chicken on my sandwich, plenty of ranch, lettuce, and tomato. Waitress was great about refills and super sweet and polite.
Also had the garlic knots for an appetizer, and they were delicious! The bread was soft and hot with fresh garlic, and the marinara sauce was perfection!
My man ordered the Italian sub sandwich with a side salad, and he said it was one of the best Italian sandwiches he’s ever had!

It was way too busy for me to find a seat so I opted for takeaway. The staff was excellent with helping me narrow down my choice and delivered my pizza curbside quicker than expected. I barely made it to my hotel before I tore into it and loved every bite. I even had a couple of pieces left over for lunch the next day.

My 11-year old son recommended this specific Hideaway location, and I’m glad he did. Even during the evening dinner rush, they had a welcoming, fun space for all patrons. The abundant local memorabilia is probably the primary reason the restaurant feels so welcoming. We were quickly seated after our arrival, and we began looking over the menu. Our server, Betsy, provided us with helpful suggestions since we didn’t know what we wanted. She even provided my son with a lemonade sample to ensure that’s the drink he wanted. We ended up getting a 9-inch combination topping pizza that filled us up. The pizza was cooked to order and came out hot with the perfect texture of crust and toppings. As we ate, Betsy continued to check on us making sure everything was okay. Before we left, Betsy sent my son with a to go cup of lemonade. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and we’ll be returning soon.

DEE-LISH-US!! Pizza was incredible. Cooked to perfection and service was amazing. Kids love it here and adults can get what they want as well. Appetizer was 50/50 mushrooms and cheese sticks. Amazing. Salad was great and their ranch is thick and super good. Highly recommended.

It’s the best pizza in the area. We usually get the hand tossed Sicilian or the pepperonipalooza. The fried ravioli is our goto appetizer but most people love the fried mushrooms. We utilize happy hour half price adult drinks 4-7 weekdays
