I was looking for a good date night place after finally getting a baby sitter. And let me tell you, it was perfect. Upscale but not dress code upscale. I had to check “$100+ per person” because I ordered 3 bottles of wine, so don’t let that fool you. It’s pricey, but not like crazy expensive. I had swordfish here for the first time, and it was easily the best piece of fish i have ever eaten. She got the surf and turf (again, explaining the bill). I cannot recommend this place enough. Our server Mia was amazing, very attentive, friendly, funny, and helped us with any questions we had about the menu. If you’re looking for a nice little spot for a great dinner, go. Don’t mind the picture, I had already started.

This was a super cool place to visit and experience. The flame was lit and with the recent rainfall, the waterfall over the eternal flame well was pretty stunning. One small thing, your Google GPS will take you to the long hike trailhead, not the short family friendly entrance. I literally passed the parking lot with sign big as day for the eternal flame trail (easy family friendly trail) on the way to the location of the quite a bit longer and challenging trail on the other side that my GPS app took me to. I really did enjoy the longer hike and the relative quiet of that approach to the eternal flame. However, lots of families do visit so folks are coming and going fairly frequently so it was a challenge to het photos and video without other people’s voices and folks walking into the picture accidentally. The trail stairs the take you down to the revine floor where the flame is does have its challenges. Some of it has handrails, and parts of it do not. So, if you have bad knees like me, bring a hiking stick and wear something more hike worthy than sneakers. Also, do just plan on getting muddy and wet.. I’m short, so it was climb over of duck under huge fallen tree trunks over the path or walk in the water. I’m still trying to figure out how some of the people walking up to the flame with relatively nice light colored clothes did not get any kind of mud or dirt on themselves… but then, a lot of them were a lot taller than me too. PSA: for all you college students from UB and elsewhere.. don’t be *that Village ‘idget* and climb the rockface of the waterfalls over the flame, then not be able to figure out how to get yourself back down. For heaven’s sakes, there’s signs everywhere that says don’t climb the ravine or the waterfalls!! And yes, this happened while I was visiting. All his friends thought it was super cute monkey shines watching him climb up, and then they didn’t even pay attention to him as he struggled to figure out how to get back down. Kid was lucky he didn’t fall and hurt himself or worse. All I’m saying is young folks don’t be stupid and take risks.. everyone wants to enjoy this experience without injury/drama… so don’t be “that guy”.

Super restaurant. Mia our waitress was fantastic and very knowledgeable. It is going to be “our go to restaurant ” from now on. My coconut shrimp was the best I have ever had and very plentiful. The homemade lemon cake is so light and absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef and baker. Bravo.

If you’re looking for a cozy place to dine in, the name is so appropriate. Not even sure how we found this, but I am so glad we did. I have been several times, never disappointed. Brandon our server is always 10/10. The food is delicious.

Mom and I arrived at 6:30 Saturday evening, the restaurant was very busy. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately and given water and menus. Mom ordered seafood bisque and a medium-rare prime rib. The soup was full of seafood and mom raved about it. The prime rib was very undercooked and mom couldn’t chew it so we sent it back for additional cooking. Five minutes later mom received her properly cooked meat and she was happy with her meal. I don’t eat meat so I ordered their pasta, and artichoke dish served in cheese sauce. It was lousy. We ordered coconut cream pie and banana cream pie for dessert. The only coconut was a tiny sprinkle on top 4 inches of unflavored whipped topping. The banana cream was the very same topping over a single layer of bananas. There was a small bit of real whipped cream on the side of each. I couldn’t be less impressed with the pies. Service was good, by the waitresses who were not assigned to us. Our waitress lost Mom’s credit card, and i needed to find her to have her search for it. It was still in her book for delivering the dinner check.

I’ve been there only once but was one of the best places ever !!!
Service was extremely great, and food was more than amazing. The unfortunate thing was that I had a baby who was having a hard time staying still, but the server was more than amazing, even though we asked to have all our food to go but it tasted amazing, food was seasoned perfectly and I’m honestly would recommend everything in the menu

The food is excellent. Service ok. We had 2 ROUND tables totaling 18. Not set up properly! It was difficult to have your backs touching and unable to talk. Then adding 18% gratuity on each seperate bill was not good since I did not realize it was added and gave an additional 20% cash tip. That’s 38% !!! Be sure you check your bill prior to paying! I’d go back for the food ~ $20~$30+ Less often at this point!

We’ve been coming here for more years than I care to remember, and that alone says everything. In a world where so much changes, this restaurant has remained wonderfully consistent. The food is always excellent, the service is genuinely friendly and attentive, and the owners truly care about their guests and their craft. You never have to wonder what kind of experience you’re going to get — it’s reliably great every single time. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place we keep coming back to because it feels like home.
