One of the best things about the Hideaway is that it is child and dog friendly so you can bring the whole family to see a show.
Getting to the Hideaway can be a little confusing if it is your first time going without someone who has already been there. My advice is to set your GPS to take you to the Tate & Lyle offices at 5450 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates since this will bring you to where you can park for free and find the walking path that takes you to the Hideaway. Once you park in the Tate & Lyle parking lot, there is a pathway on the right side of building that goes over a bridge to the Hideaway Brew Garden.
The Hideaway opens at 6:00 pm and we got there early enough that we were able to get one of the table benches that seat 8 people close to the stage. They offer several options if you want to rent a private space for your party including small “huts”, themed trailers and some large closed off areas. This is an open air venue with a the area closest to the stage where the ground is covered by wood chips then there is the lawn area where you can bring your own blanket and chairs. There are paved pathways and a permanent structure with the bar and restrooms. They also have some porta-potties if the regular bathrooms get to crowded. For those who smoke, they do allow smoking just outside the main area.
We had a great time watching the band and enjoyed the food and drink. It was really nice having our 17 year-olds join us at the show.
You park across the street at the now arena lot which isn’t straightforward because there’s no signage.
It is a must to go if your in the area. Check there listing for times and what is going on
