We were given a voucher for a 2 course Continental meal with a glass of wine for two. The restaurant was very quiet as it was a Friday at a business based hotel. Food was great. Curry dishes were a bit spicy but we are near Bradford shop this was expected. We were given good attention by Mustafa – he was attentive and friendly. Recommended!

Was served by a girl who was trying her best. She was the only waiter and did try quite hard. Very well done to her: the owner does need to hire somebody else to keep the customer service high. Food was decent but the girl alone could not manage. For example we wanted ketchup and she had a few other requests from other tables to manage.

We tried the steaks on Tuesday when they had the bogof offer on. They were delicious. As were the sides of mash, roasted veg and chips. The food was spot on.
The restaurant is inside a hotel and there was no music playing so it was just very quiet and we felt like we had to whisper
And service was a little slow. It took a while for our food to arrive but once it did, it was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Halal too!

I visited with my family the place seemed so sketchy and there was just an off vibe with little to no music and only one member of staff managing everything on her own. Bless her she was running back and forth to take everyone’s orders and serve food and drinks. The place was fairly busy and it was ridiculous that there was only one member of staff running around to do everything. She brought our milkshakes out and said she doesn’t know if they are good and offered to add sugar if they were not good seemed very off and strange to say especially for a steak place. Food was okay not the best I wouldn’t recommend to visit for occasions or if looking for a good steak your better off at toros lol, if looking for a quiet spot to eat alone it’s okay not the best.

I find it misleading that it doesn’t mention anywhere that it’s located inside the Tong Hotel. The space felt small and crowded. It was quite busy considering it’s also the hotels restaurant.

The menu is small. We liked our food but it could be better. The peppcorn sayce with the steak wasn’t the best. The biryani was all watery for some reason, was OK. Service was good.
We wanted to pay the bill, and we were told to go to the bar till but I saw other customers paying their bill by card at the table? The bar lady didn’t know what table we were or how much the bill was. So she was going back and forth.
Nice place to go, but I wouldn’t bother going out of my way and go here again. Sorry.

I recently visited Hide and Steak with my family on a Friday evening, and we were the only people there. The lady who took our order was very sweet and helpful, though she was the only staff member present. As a group of seven, it did take a while for her to get our order right, and she seemed a bit confused at times. Given she was on her own, this was understandable.
The starters were excellent and we couldn’t fault them. However, the wait for the mains was exceedingly long. The pasta we ordered was extremely salty, and one of the chicken steaks arrived twenty minutes after the rest of the meals, without any of the sides or vegetables. To make matters worse, the chicken steak was rubbery and dry.
When it came time to pay, a different worker, a hijabi woman whose name we didn’t catch, handled the payment. We expressed our dissatisfaction about the missing sides with the late chicken steak, to which she dismissively replied, “The chef forgot, it’s not my fault,” and still charged us the full amount. Additionally, we were made to pay for a wrong drink that the waitress had brought, even though we had asked her to take it back. Her attitude was unprofessional, and she smirked throughout our complaint.
Overall, the poor customer service overshadowed the good starters. I would not recommend Hide and Steak due to their lack of support and unprofessional behaviour.

Hide & steak is a really nice dining experience, our waitress was very honest about food serve time and attentive with us. We didn’t wait too long for food however. And the time we did wait was well worth it. The food was absolutely delicious, all five of us thought so, and we each had a different meal. Also the ice cream was amazing !

The food was lovely but the service was poor. One poor girl running round on her own trying to serve everyone. The food wasn’t too hot when it came to the table. We ordered puddings and they brought them out before clearing our table first. Such a shame! The girl who was serving us was lovely and tried her best to keep people happy.
