Ok place to stop. Waitress could of made so much more on drinks of she’d of checked on us more often. Food was good.

The nicest thing I can say about the hideaway…is that it should stay hidden. This is a bar that should be just that, a bar and get out of the food business. Fries had consistency of paper and tasted like dusty potatoes. My husband was given the wrong beer, we had to ask for silverware, there was only 15 other people on the bar….I counted. The atmosphere was pleasant for a roadside bar, little blue twinkle lights that were charming.

Yummy burgers and pizza but its obnoxiously loud when the jukebox is playing. Why does it have to be so loud? Also, not the best service for a Sat night. The bar was full and we were the only patrons eating food at the tables and we felt ignored. I think I’ll avoid this place for dinner but will check to see how this place is at lunch time.

The pizza here, including the sauce, is homemade. We tried the Reuben pizza. It’s corned beef, swiss cheese and sauerkraut. Though offered with a 1000 island sauce, we chose a different one. The pizza was thick with toppings, and the crust was ultra thin and crispy. Pizza is just one of a number of menu choices. What’s really nice when you come to a place like this, is feeling welcomed. We were given really good service.

Pizza was good. Nachos not so much, beef was not seasoned and was left in huge chunks, NO cheese?
Everyone was very friendly

I haven’t eaten there yet but the owners are amazing people! We had a flat tire on the side of the road and they stopped to help. They had a tire at there house that saved our day!

The Hide Away Bar might as well stay hidden away because let me tell you it’s not worthy to have a sign labeled “pizza specialist.” My family and I ordered 3 pizzas over the weekend. A Reuben pizza, a chicken Alfredo, and a pepperoni, mushroom and sausage. As we first arrived it’s apparent that this must be the only bar in town so people come here to get their kicks. My wife and I stood there for 10 minutes while the bartender was favoring the other side of the bar. A different person who made it clear to my wife and I that she isn’t working but guess she could help us got our pizzas which came up to $63 for the 3 “special pizzas.” So then we ask for a bottle of Lemon (Rum). She said sure we have a 1.75 for $22. She brings back a 1 Liter and goes to ring it up. When I mentioned the size difference she says “oh that’s all we have.” That’s fine but but she still charged $22 for the 1 Liter. I even asked her and she says, “it’s still $22.” I mean I may not be the smartest person out there but I can figure the math on this one. Anyway, we get back to our campsite and open up the pizzas to find that each one was burnt on top, little to no sauce so on a burnt pizza it’s worse then a stale cracker laid out in the middle July. These pizzas were special, specially made for the garbage. If you can make it through your weekend with the food you have, do it, I will not be recommending the Hide Away Bar to anyone.
