We split a flight of beer, & an appetizer (pretzels with beer cheese). The pretzels were really good, the beer cheese was different but good and the pickled veggies and mustard were great. We will definitely get this app again. We got a hot dog off the kid’s menu and it was good (rated a 4of 5), and the cod blt minus the bacon with fries as a side. The fries were good, hot and a little crispy. The cod was okay. Good not great but reasonably enjoyable. We liked 3 of the four beers in our flight. We’ll be back to try more of the beer choices and maybe the brussel sprouts next time. We didn’t wait long for a table even though it was busy on a pretty day. We sat inside and it was loud but fine. Service was good too. Prices were okay for what you get.

We’ve always loved Hidden Wit but we had the best-of-the-best experience yesterday. It was my Dad’s 70th birthday and we had about 18 people pop in to surprise him. It was also our server’s 21st birthday! And, despite working on her birthday and have us as a kind of chaotic crew, she was SO kind, so attentive, so cheerful – really, she was awesome! Everyone working there was great, food was great as always. We’re really grateful and will continue to see Hidden Wit’s praises! Thanks y’all!

Having been the GM of a successful full service restaurant I have come to appreciate all that it takes to create a great customer food and beverage dining experience. Hidden Wit’s management team and both back and front of the house teams have consistently nailed it and it’s evident from the time you walk in the door and even after you leave with their customer loyalty program and communications. I often judge restaurants by whether I would be proud to work there and enthusiastically invite friends to dine there. Hidden Wit is one of those rare places. Great food and beverages, great service, great atmosphere, great entertainment events, and well managed!

Perfect place to bring a young family. Outdoor area is a great atmosphere for kids to run around and burn up energy and still allow parents to socialize while keeping of their kids. Outdoor solo fire pits are nice to keep warm next too during cold nights. Good bands on Saturday most weekends make the venue fun for everyone. All of servers were excellent but Haley went above and beyond tonight to make sure our family had a wonderful experience. We will be back to visit Haley very soon!!

Hidden Wit is a hidden gem, tucked away from the craziness. The food was excellent my burger one of the best I have ever had. The service was great. Love the atmosphere very family oriented I think. They have inside and outside seating. Outside they have corn hole to play. A place for music. Next time we go we will sit outside, a little to hot right now. Definitely a place to goto. We will be back!

We stopped here after a visit to the Metro Richmond Zoo (just down the road) and were really pleased with the visit. It’s more of a restaurant than a brewery tasting room, but we did try plenty of the beers and craft cocktails. We also really enjoyed the pretzel sticks with beer cheese, the Nashville chicken sandwich, the cuban, and a burger. They do have a kids menu as well. The server was great and drinks and food were quick. They have a beautiful covered patio seating and outside bar and large lawn area. Would definitely stop again when out on this end of town.

I love their salad, the tomato soup and pretzels! I’ve been back 3 times and haven’t been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I cannot wait for the Spring and summer weather to enjoy the outdoor spaces, the music etc. Great place, great food and the beer and dri is are fabulous!!

We recently held a large retirement event at Hidden Wit, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Diyoni was incredible from the start—she was so helpful with making all the arrangements before the event and was there during the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Greg Coe was also a wonderful point of contact and jumped right in to help us on the day of the event, getting everyone where we need to be.
The service was top-notch, featuring very friendly bartenders , great beer and mixed drinks and food that came out fast and tasted delicious. We were able to bring our own decorations and cookies to personalize the space, but otherwise, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was such a relief to just show up and enjoy our friends and family. Highly recommend Hidden Wit for any special occasion!

Loved everything about our experience: food, atmosphere, service! The sliders appetizer was delicious, and so was my fish and chips, just wish the portion was a bit bigger. The Hidden Wit sauce (I think that’s the name) was so goood. Great beer selection, the signature Hidden Wit was very good, and so was the Strawberry Blonde. Highly recommend!

I had a very Pleasant time here they had a band Called The Rise.
I enjoyed their live music. There’s a huge area you can put your chairs or blankets on in front of the stage. You can eat inside or outside. It’s Pet and kid friendly.
Also handicap friendly It’s a good place for the family, I highly recommend it.
I had a kids hotdog it was all beef & a bag of chips for $8. The food is more on the costly side.
Outside you can get beer on tap, canned beer or wine . Liquor is at the bar inside.
