The best option for food at Wilderness at the Smokies, and still leaving a lot to be desired. 4-star review is compared to other resort options; I’d suggest picking something off resort.
Service at lunch was slow but the waitress was sweet.
Fries were excellent. Philly Cheesesteak appeared to be a mashed up cheeseburger on a roll; good enough.

This place closes at 9pm and when we arrived at 7:45 we were turned away and told they were not seating anymore people even though I counted easily 10 tables open with no one sitting at them and no obvious waiting line. Seems like the employees only cared about closing early rather than running a fine dining restaurant.

I cannot even comment on the food or overall service. I can comment on how poorly run this place is. Two nights in a row we were told we would have to wait 30 plus minutes to be seated for staffing. The first time, cool whatever, we went somewhere else. The second night was ridiculous. You have open tables and you want me to stand waiting with two small children? I get being short staffed. I don’t mind waiting to order. I don’t mind waiting for my food. I do mind standing juggling two toddlers while you have open tables where I can sit and entertain them. Someone needs to work on the management of this place.

Michelle!!! What am incredible person! To set the scene… winter warning in affect… snow falling… hotel guest swarming the restaurant… it was a typically bad situation that she made easy! Food was great… service was even better! Her genuine friendly attitude made a huge impression! Don’t lose her EVER!! 5 stars!!

Don’t know how to rate this place. Was dead empty when we arrived but was told it would be a wait because the kitchen was backed up. Never offered for us to even sit at the bar. Unbelievable….

Fatastic hidden gem in the Smokies. The most delicious food you’ll ever have without breaking the bank. I would even reccomend coming here if you are not staying at the Resort. The best restaurant we ate at during my family’s Spring Break!!! A++++

Wasn’t the greatest food but the waitress was nice and the alcohol beverage was good. The waterpark view is nice by the window.

Possibly the best Burger I have ever eaten. I ordered the southern burger and it did not disappoint. Wife had the shrimp and wow they were cooked to perfection!

Wings and fries were really good. Hot fresh and crispy. The pizza was not good. I ordered the shrimp skewers. Shrimp was good but the rice underneath was ice cold and tasted similar to the microwave in a bag rices. Asian inspired meal with a spicy chili sauce (sauce was good). Service was really good and everyone was super friendly. When the bill came, I was surprised to see a charge for water with lemon which most restaurants don’t charge for. The three stars is only due to the friendliness or else they would have a 2 star from me.
