I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the menudo and the birria tacos — both were packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into every dish.The ambiance is small but cozy, with soothing music that makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The customer service was beyond excellent as well, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. For the quality of the food and the experience overall, the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine!

The owners here are nice, friendly and very heart-warming inviting. The food here is always amazing and delicious. The burritos are huge, the quesabirrias are so fresh and tasty, and they have iconic flavorful pupusas for such a great price. The customers are always well taken care of here and it gives a very home-made inviting feeling. I would give it a higher rating if I could!

Back home we have a favorite Mexican restaurant, but Hidalgo’s Kitchen is far superior! The quasabirrias were OUTSTANDING. And their guacamole – freshly made -was the best I’ve had…even beat out some of the best homemade I’ve had.
We also ordered the church’s and they were worth the wait! All four of them were also freshly made

The Quesabirria was amazing! I’ve been searching for that flavor ever since I first had birria in Venice Beach four years ago and I’ve finally found it!! Tasty. Fresh. Spicy. Amazing. My mom ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was sooooo cheesy and perfect. My dad ended up getting the carne asada plate and the meat was perfect and tortillas absolutely delicious. The service was top tier on top of the food being amazing. Please don’t sleep on this restaurant. Definitely my new go to.

The yuca frita con chicharrón is 100% amazing—absolutely delicious and my favorite dish. The pupusas are also very tasty and full of flavor. Breakfast is okay, but the real highlights are definitely the yuca and pupusas. Customer service is fantastic, very friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. There is plenty of parking available, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a great place and I’ll definitely be coming back for the yuca frita with chicharrón!
