We have had our morning coffee here every day of our vacation so far, and it has been phenomenal every time. The ube white chocolate mocha is out of this world, and my husband loves the Kona blend cold brew. All the toasts we have had have also been incredible—the banana toast in particular lives rent free in my head. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is a relaxed vibe. 10/10 recommend.

Got the Ube Latte and an Americano and both were wonderful! My only wish was that I asked for my latte extra hot as, it was cooler than I am used to. It wasn’t too sweet and nicely pairs with the espresso. They do up charge for pure Kona Espresso but, it was still well balanced and smooth. They offer baked goods, breakfast foods, and musubi! We opted for coffee only but, everything looked amazing.
The atmosphere is your traditional coffee shop vibes/ workspace. Plenty of open seating indoor and out. We opted for take out so we weren’t able to enjoy the atmosphere for long.
Prices are about standard for the island.
The location is in a great spot! Next to several other restaurants and Kona Brewing. As my husband said “it’s a millennial hipster paradise ”

Super cute & local coffee shop sourcing beans straight from the Hawaiian islands, & esp the Kona-grown beans! Kind of bummed that they’re only found on the Big Island, & only on the Kona side, but I guess that’s what makes them unique! The last time I went there I was smitten, & I made it a point to come back when I came back this time. I will always make HiCo a point to come by any time I’m on the big island. Ube latte was great, but the haupia latte was my FAVORITE.

Very popular coffee, breakfast, brunch spot. I’m a nice area with other local favorites and shops. Good selection of coffee, lattes and specialty drinks. Food looked great and people told us it’s great, although I didn’t try any. Can be fairly busy but moves along steadily

Absolutely loved this spot! It’s such a comfortable place to work from — bright, relaxed, and perfect for settling in with a laptop. The staff are genuinely friendly and super accommodating. They even made the Lily Special for me with unsweetened matcha instead of the regular version, and it turned out perfect.
Great coffee with locally sourced beans, and really cute merch as well. Will definitely be coming back for both coffee and work sessions. Highly recommend!

If you want to enjoy a specialty coffee and try a bunch of different local flavors, it’s the place to go! Please visit this place instead of a Starbucks as you’ll be able to find similar breverage but with an accent on local distributors. There are plenty of options and the ambiance feels like a nice mixt of tourists and local people. I was also pleased to see that you can use your own mug or enjoy your coffee on the spot and avoid disposable containers. Also, parking is very easy.

Absolutely reccommend this place! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a chill outdoor vibe—even inside—which makes it super cozy and refreshing. The Christian hip hop playing in the background gives it a unique and uplifting atmosphere you don’t find everywhere. The staff is incredibly friendly and patient, making the whole experience feel personal and warm. The drink menu is next-level amazing with creative options. Definitely a must-go coffee spot when in Kona!

This place was recommended to us by a local and specifically we were told to try the ube latte. We actually went to the drive through location near Captain Cook first and were a little frustrated by the setup there (nobody at the ordering window, drove around the pickup window and then saw someone at the ordering window) but loved our coffee. So, naturally, we came to the sit down location a few days later. My husband got the ube latte here and at another shop and this one was way better – not too sweet, a little earthy, and a beautiful color of course. I got the honey and bee pollen latte and felt it was even better than the ube. Both are super unique and much of the remainder of the menu seems to fit that vein. We didn’t get food but it looked yummy. Plenty of seating when we went (a week day mid morning), both indoors and outdoor.

Very tasty coffee in a lovely space in a trendy area in town. It’s all Hawaiian grown coffee but you can also specify if you want a Kona coffee only. The cold brew was very good.

We needed a place to hang out before our flight so we decided to stop by HiCo for a drink and somewhere to kill time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s very cutely decorated. My husband’s ube lattee was very creamy and had a good flavor and my drink was very refreshing. Would definitely recommend stopping by!
