Unfortunately I was not very impressed with this restaurant. We had a cheeseburger, rib tips, pull pork and tamales. I have to say it was all bland. No taste at all. And I was really hoping for the best and it didn’t happen.

Oh man – can’t say how awesome this place was. Persist in trying to get the nice man to open the door or window for you and be rewarded with the best tamales I’ve ever had. The sides were also outstanding, especially the slaw.

Very quiet unassuming place in Clarkadale….Drive up window….ordered 6 tamales to go and they were very tasty….they weren’t the size of regular tamales but they were still good. I’d like to try the rib tips but they didn’t have them that day.

The tamales were sooo good, some of the best I ever had. So if you are looking for a good hole in the wall for tamales you found the place. That’s all we got because they don’t serve the whole menu during the week. The guy at the window was super friendly! The way you get into the place is a little confusing that’s my only complaint but it’s totally worth the hassle I’m telling you. I will be going here again. If they would have been open when we finished them we would have went back for another dozenn!
