It was a great experience we got the Rib plate and the Pork plate with potato salad, fries, and baked beans. The baked beans had a very great flavor! The meat on the ribs was VERY tender!

Basic country joint. The guy taking my order was patient and friendly. I ordered a large burger and fries. The fries were basic crinkle fries, but they were really crispy without being overdone. The burger was a decent size and better than mediocre. Worth the stop and I will revisit to try the BBQ.
Edit: Took home small sauce sample, charged .75…fair enough. Really liked the taste… mustard-based, similar (not same) as other local BBQ. Will definitely be back to try BBQ sandwich.

I can only speak on the chopped pork because that’s what I picked up to go, but it was really good. Overall, some of the best in the area, and much better than some of the more ‘popular’ places. The BBQ sauce was also good. Will definitely be going back.

The taste of ribs were good, a little smoke flavor. The ribs were tender. You pay almost $6. for small pork sandwich with very little meat, not enough to even taste the meat. Posting pictures of sandwich which I was extremely disappointed with.

If I could give less then one star I would!!! Literally just went in there and got 2 pounds of pork and the guy literally asked me if I wanted it hot and ready to eat, not thinking anything of it assuming its a BBQ place it would be hot anyways, no these people put my meat and sides in a MICROWAVE!!! To heat my food up!! And not only does it not hardly have a taste at all it is literally the driest BBQ I have ever gotten in my life!!! Service was ok people were polite and respectful but as for the food, I will never come here again, nor would I ever recommend coming here.

We love Hicks! It’s our Friday go to for lunch. Cheeseburger all the way add BBQ sauce and fries DELICIOUS! We love the staff. He knows our order as soon as we walk in the door! Highly recommend!
