Great family restaurant! Portions are great for the price and food is delicious, if you like me are a meat lover do yourself a favour and please stop at this place
Service was lovely and staff checked it on is frequently to make sure we were happy with the food and didn’t need anything else.
Definitely a recommend if you end up in north wales.
Place has parking too so you don’t have to worry about it that it was indeed quite busy at dinner time and we only waited 10 minutes without booking my a table

Great experience at Hickory’s! It was so good, we visited twice during a recent trip to the area. Our server, Phoebe, was very friendly and helpful and even shared recommendations for things to do locally. The grape soda floats were delicious! The decor both internally and outside is fantastic! Would definitely visit again.

I marched into Hickory’s and made the bold, life-altering decision to order the Go Big or Go Home burger. Let me tell you, they weren’t joking. The thing was so structurally ambitious it required its own planning permission and a structural engineer. By the time I’d scaled the summit of that beef mountain, I genuinely struggled to go home—not because I didn’t want to, but because my center of gravity had shifted so significantly I was practically anchored to the floor. I didn’t need a taxi; I needed a forklift and a police escort to roll me back to the car. Bloody lovely, obviously, but I’ve had to re-evaluate my entire relationship with gravity.
We snagged seats at the Chef’s Bar, which turned out to be a massive mistake for my Monday-morning morale. Watching those chefs work with the synchronized precision of a Swiss watch made me realize one devastating truth: my team at work doesn’t work hard enough. While these guys were flipping briskets and managing flames like culinary gods, my lot spend forty minutes debating which font to use for a Reply All email. I was sitting there with BBQ sauce on my chin, mentally drafting disciplinary hearings for Dave in Marketing for not having a sear station at his desk. If my office moved with half the heat of that kitchen, we’d have colonized Mars by now.

Yesterday was our first visit to Hickory’s and we are already looking forward to going back.
All of the staff were friendly and really helpful. I would like to specifically thank Phoebe for making our anniversary really special.
The food was excellent, perfectly cooked and delicious. The drinks menu is varied and I am planning on coming in summer to make use of the beer garden.
Music was at a pleasant level so we could still chat. Also, good playlist, some American classics.
Overall, super happy. Thank you for our lovely note on our bill wishing us a happy anniversary – a lovely and personal touch.

The food the other night was incredible. Most things (apart from the stodgy, oily water tots) were so nice, including the drinks. Great gluten free menu.
We ended up buying 4 cans of grape soda to take home. Staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. Very happy. Best date night ever.

Received a Hickorys gift card from my daughter for Christmas so we decided to use it yesterday afternoon.
Very warm welcome was received and as I pre booked a reservation online, we were immediately taken to our table for 2!
We both had a pint which cost around £5.50 each and was given a few minutes to chose from the menu!
After checking out the menu, I decided to try the Pig and chick whole my girlfriend chose the salmon!
Food didn’t take too long at all!
My plate was massive, although loads of meat, it was all covered in various sauces, which wad probably a little too much for me! My girlfriends enjoyed her Salmon although again it was slightly smoked which she said didn’t really needed to be as fish tastes lovely with its own flavour!
All in all, we did enjoy our experience with the welcome, the staff were very nice, the atmosphere was lovely but the food was not really what we’re use to! We would rather taste the fresh meat and fish without too much additional flavouring.
We spent around £65 for a main meal and a drink each which we both agreed was a little on the expensive side compared to other good restaurants in the area.

I dined here yesterday for my birthday and had such an amazing experience! The staff were all so accommodating and lovely to talk to, the food quality was amazing and there were so many nice birthday treats. I got given a birthday doughnut and then was asked if I’d like to have a free cocktail master class! The bartender came over to my table and taught me how to make a strawberry daiquiri and mojito. This was such a lovely touch and was something I’d never done before, it really made my birthday feel extra special

We had Brunch with Santa today, wow! What a beautiful couple of hours we had. The staff went to so much effort and were so amazing with my nephews who had travelled over from Manchester.
Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and the visit to Santa was magical ( with a super cool present too!)
The staff are clearly lead by a spectacular management team and should be very proud.

Whether it’s steak or brisket or salads or premium milkshakes, these guys really know their yeehaw.

The food and service was really great. Nice to find a truly dog friendly restaurant (outside table in a private hut outside under the heaters). We have a nervous dog and James our waiter was very understanding & accommodating and gave her a generous slice of brisket to settle her in! James was very knowledgable and attentive all night.
