We’ve had good experiences every time we’ve been to this Hickory tavern. The food comes out hot and presented nicely. We had the same server the last two visits and she did a great job, her name is Saraya. The honey butter croissants are amazing!

I come in every Tuesday for trivia. The food is always good, but the service is the shining star. I start at a table with Riley and she is personable, sweet, and on time with everything. Once trivia ends. I move to the bar, where, the cherry on top of an amazing night is Zoe. She works the bar like a seasoned professional. She takes time for every patron, but just enough where I never wait too long for service. Both Riley and Zoe make you feel like you’re the only customer they have. Additional bonus is Manny, he is an out front and personable manager. This combo of people always makes me feel like family.

Zoe was my bartender. She was excellent. The martini she made for me was delicious. And compliments to the chef as well. I ordered the ribeye with street corn and both were very yummy!

When in town we always make a point to stop in and see the staff, such a fun environment especially when Zoe is working bar cause she is very attentive to the guests. Food is excellent but seems like the menu always changes which is a nice surprise when I come in.

It was very busy tonight, and food took a little while, but our waitress kept us informed and brought out the food as soon as it was ready. Food was very hot. The waitress was really running and she did a great job, even though it was so busy.

The food was.. meh. Reuben sandwich, minimal sauerkraut, minimal dressing, pretty dry.
Philly meat was good. minimal cheese. Lucky has queso leftover from appetizer and made it better. (No wonder she asked me 3 times if I wanted sauce for it…lol)
Overall. I would say.. go to Chilli’s. 100%. I mean. it’s half the price and twice as good.

Jeannette was my waitress. After 25 years of Restaurant work its easy to spot good servers. She balanced relatability and service in a way that was natural. Im glad I stopped in here tonite. The food was good too !

We had an amazing experience at Hickory Tavern thanks to our bartender, Aubrey. Truly attentive and personable bartender. I watched her pay attention to each customer and connect with regulars and newbies. She paid attention to every detail, drinks were perfect, food order modifications were executed perfectly, timing was spot-on, and the service felt genuinely caring, not rushed. It’s rare to find someone who can balance great conversation, share a bit about themselves and pair that with great service, she nailed it. If you’re stopping by Hickory Tavern, you’ll be lucky to catch her behind the bar! Her energy and smile is magnetic! Highly recommend.

The sports bar feeling of the restaurant was expectedly loud and crowded, but the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was of a high quality and a good taste. The Monday deal, which I had, saw every burger available on the menu at $8 a pop, which especially made the experience worth it. It’s about a good 30 or so minute drive from where I live in Lancaster, but I can definitely see repeat visits in the future.

I had a great experience at Hickory Tavern. The char-broiled ribs were outstanding—tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Definitely some of the best I’ve had in the area.
A special shout-out to Aubrey, who is an excellent bartender. She’s friendly, attentive, and really knows how to make you feel welcome. Her service made the visit even better.
