OMG the Power bowl is so awesome!!! My husband said the chicken tenders are some of the best tenders he has ever had and he’s 72 years old. We can’t wait to come back. We live in Bolivia NC so it’s a little ride but so worth it!!!! ❤️

It’s a great spot for an evening out. Good crowd of people and it was busy. Both good signs. Large open concept. Food was good. The Menu had enough options to find something you’ll like. The server we had was very good. She handled a large group of people by herself. NICE JOB to her! Overall this is a solid 4. Would recommend them as well as we’ll be returning.

Decided to stop by the Hickory Tavern to watch the game while having a few drinks. Great place and environment for game day. They even have a few drink specials that change daily. Even a happy hour. Huge selections of beer, draft and bottle. Excellent bartenders to handle even your special requests. There’s even an enclosed outdoor area. Found the waitress to be very friendly and respectful. We had a few drafts and a large nachos that was delicious. Huge facility equipped for large groups. We’ve been here several times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

We’re transient cruisers and came here to watch the Steelers-Browns game while docked nearby. Getting there a little later than planned, the bar was already full and most of the tables were taken. The hostess cleared a table herself to position us close to TVs with the game we wanted to watch. Laura, our server, took good care of us despite the crowd. She was not only Southern style friendly, but proactive in her recommendations and making sure our glasses were never empty. The Reuben and tots made my husband happy, and my Tavern Salad with bacon honey mustard accompanied by a cup of crab soup were delicious! We would come back if we stay in this area again.

This afternoon we came in and had appetizers. It was my fiance, our son and myself. We got the wings, kids cheese flatbread and loaded Mac and cheese bites. The food was awesome as always. The service was excellent. Hallie was so sweet and so attentive. And she was entertaining. She was definitely one of the best servers we have had on the beach. Definitely be back.

Everything – absolutely delicious! The margarita, house salad, shrimp & grits were all so yummy. Portions were large, I had to take grits home to finish them. Loved the house salad was so fresh, succulent, I would eat it all day long if I could. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. Although, I didn’t notice I was charged for a sweet tea I didn’t order until I added photo to this review, look at your bill closely. Main dining room is pretty cold so eating on patio was really nice alternative. I am a fan and will visit again for more of same and bringing family to try other menu items too!

Hickory Tavern in North Myrtle Beach is a go to place for my buddy and I. We’ve always had a great experience here and today was highlighted by our server Raven. She was excellent. Never let out drinks get low, stopped back a couple times to ensure our orders were correct and generally showed that she really cared about our experience. If you’ve never stopped here, I highly suggest it. The food is great and the atmosphere is as well. The walls are lined with TV”s and it’s bright and airy. Ask to sit in Raven’s area!

So if you have never had a smash burger like us just know they are well done. Our server also didn’t know they were well done when we asked if they were well done because he said no. We ordered the smokehouse burger,I got it for the bacon and the crispy onions. It arrived with fridge cold bacon and no crispy onions. I wasn’t offered a new burger or a discount/comp on our meal. Nothing worse than a restaurant that doesn’t own up to their mistakes. I have family visiting us and planned to bring them here after reading all the reviews but after our experience that won’t be happening.

Raven R was excellent. She explained about the mahi mahi that was on the menu. I orders it and I will get it every time. Love it thank you Raven!
Also the Carolina cheesesteak hoagie was excellent we get that each time too!!
