We had a great experience at Hickory Tavern in Charlotte. I ordered the salmon with Brussels sprouts, and it was cooked perfectly—flavorful and nicely seasoned. My husband had the chicken caprese, which was juicy and fresh with just the right balance of flavors.
We started with a mix of lemon pepper wings and Parmesan chicken wings, and both were delicious—crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was lively but comfortable.
Definitely a great spot for a casual date night or a family meal. We’ll be back!

Incredible experience! Our soccer team from KY came to Charlotte to play and stumbled upon Hickory Tavern. They were incredibly accommodating for our large group of 40+ people. The service and food were great and the atmosphere was perfect for a team. Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area!

Well, I’m definitely gonna post my visit today at Hickory Tavern most of the time I visit there is always excellent top of the list today. It was not so good. It took them almost 20 minutes to even come to our table and then after that we got our food in a timely manner, but the taste of the food was semi OK. The tater tots was a little too hard and the fries is kind of burnt tasting But I’m still going to remain coming to Hickory Tavern because I do like coming here however I didn’t like the fact that the guy could not get me the broccoli Lol that I wanted that’s just so you’ll know who I am however, each time I’ve came I have been able to get the broccoli without the shrimp but no matter you have a wonderful day a great holiday holiday and go Hickory Tavern

We have been to a Hickory Tavern in Indian Land numerous times and always left completely disappointed with every aspect of the place. We were skeptical about meeting our friends here for the Panther game, but didn’t want to miss out on the fun.

I have been coming to this Hickory tavern for over a decade.
The cleanliness has significantly improved with the recent ownership changes. The service from the wait staff seems to have also improved. The food quality has always been pretty good and continues to be with the new ownership.
I will say the hostess have become extremely painful to work with since the transition. They have new rules about calling ahead, seating, party sizes and just seem difficult to work with.

Everyone here was incredibly kind and helpful! I had placed an online order, but there was a mix-up and someone else picked it up before I arrived. The staff handled it so graciously and they quickly remade my food. I didn’t have to wait very long. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, great food for the price. I really appreciate places that care about their customers.

Not the Hickory Tavern it used to be. Prices through the roof, service down, and quality way down. You can get TWO WHOLE rotisserie chickens for what they charge for 3 wings cut in half. Service was non-existent, and food quality was bad. Stale chips with the app. No one even apologized. Not going back. So sad this is where we are now. We deserve better for how we spend our hard earned money, and companies don’t care anymore.
