The service and meal were excellent. Perfect size portions for the meals and the appetizer is perfect for 2-3 people to share. For the appetizer we order the BBQ Pulled Pork French Fries. For our meals we order the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings and the brisket with the fried mac & cheese. We’ll definitely be going back.

Extremely good food! I had the pork belly sliders and the pork belly was delicious, seasoned perfectly! They also offer their own “smokey” ketchup and BBQ sauce that are very good. The service was also excellent! I will definitely be bringing friends back here!

So I participate in BBQ cook-off’s and i must say that this is a BBQ joint everyone needs to come and visit. I know good BBQ when I have good BBQ! We had the BBQ brisket with sauteed onions and a homemade horseradish sauce on a hoagie bun, that was amazing! Along with awesome kettle chips. We also had the BBQ pulled pork with top notch coleslaw, onion rings and amazing ranch to dip the rings in. The smokey sauce was our favorite. Not to mention the sweet tea I just couldn’t get enough of. Good job Hickory House BBQ! Great waitress, great service, great food, great environment. Worth every dollar!!!!! 5 stars……I’d give you 6 but that’s not an option. We will be back! This is not just your everyday BBQ joint! This is something much more!

Went here last night, enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches that we had. Expected a little more of a smokey flavor, but all around we liked the meal. The corn fritters we’re excellent. Nice batter with kernels of Curren in the fritters. Sauce was good. Baked beans were tasty with onion in then. Coleslaw was a good flavor, but I prefer a more coarse cut to my slaw. We will have to return and try the brisket.

Good service, my pulled pork potato skins were nice, but my husbands brisket was terribly dry and tough. It felt more like yesterday’s leftovers that were reheated poorly. The bbq sauces weren’t anything to write home about. They were out of wings, which is my husbands go-to. Overall it looks nice, our waitress was lovely, but the food was just so-so.

I have been here twice and both times the food has been fantastic! Their onion rings are my favorite. The sauces are great and have a nice flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in Lawrenceburg or traveling through! The decorations are adorable! It’s the perfect little BBQ joint!

The smoked pork chop is soooo good! We got the special with brisket, wings, and a pork chop and 2 sides for $24.99. It was more than 2 people could eat. Great flavor and the smokey bbq sauce is definitely the best. I highly recommend this place.

Today was our first visit eating here. We were there around 5/530pm. The atmosphere is Suttle, the waitress was very pleasant and never left us waiting for anything even though she was by herself. The food… OMG, was delicious! I do not like BBQ anything and was a little afraid to eat there but what we had was amazing. Will definitely be returning and trying more of the menu!

Nice lunch, great portions, flavor amazing! Went at lunch, both of us got pulled pork sandwiches, I got the huge onion rings, he got the fried mac n chz. Hot, awesome huge sandwiches, sides great!!! Dont let this being in a strip center fool you, nice decor as well
