Really good foot and really good services. The staff explained very clearly about the difference of each items and difference of each spicy level. Really helped us order the food we want and they all tasted very good. No too much people during dinner time in workday. Limited parking space, you may have to park car in next plaza.

First time here. I am a fan of Mao Cuisine. The price is reasonable. It takes us slightly over 40 dollars.(you can check the photos). The food all tastes great. The food masterials are fresh.

When the food is served, the server will open a can of red oil and pull it over the cuisine. It feels good and make the experience better. I really appreciate the service as well.

Found this place via Tesla “feeling hungry” while I was around the neighborhood. If you are a fan of Chinese spicy food, this place doesn’t disappoint! Let me say this: their spice is legit and doesn’t have MSG. Most of Chinese spicy food place uses so much MSG that you will be very thirsty after the meal. And, that little secret spice sauce they put on top, is AMAZING! The soup base is the typical stuff, but that extra cherry on the top spicy sauce is the reason you need to come! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Admittedly, the food tasted good –not bland, or too salty. I wanted to give this place an extra star for food, BUT I couldn’t get the image out of my head of a fly walking all over and trotting around on the imitation crab sitting right there. I tried to snap a picture, but it probably sensed my presence and flew off. If only they had some netted covers to cover up the food sitting out in the open.
I had a pickup order, and maybe he couldn’t hear me through the mask, but he didn’t say a single word or even a thankyou. Uhm… Was it because he saw my 外國app that the Chinese don’t use? Not a single 謝謝 or a thank you? I mean it’s very efficient, but sort of cold.

I and my two girlfriends (traveling together to an event) had dinner here. It was pretty late when we got there and two of the dishes (bullfrog and something else) we tried to order ran out.
We had four dishes. The first two were amazing and very tasty . As more dishes arrived, I felt that all of them tasted similar . It could be because of the same Sichuan ingredients and same way they prepared the dishes, or because we had enough food already after the first two. Dessert looks good but I am not a dessert person and didn’t eat it so i can’t comment on it.
We were not able to finish the dishes. They are spicy and we had too much. The waiter helped us with large conditioners for carrying back to our hotel.
Two husbands arrived later and ate our left overs . One of them (originally from Korean) liked it a lot.
Price is good as you can see here. Overall it’s a good place to eat in a small group setting but please get there early and don’t order too much.

I ended up eating here because Hunan Chili King was too crowded and I didn’t regret one bit! This restaurant is cozy and clean. Servers were polite and very friendly. I also liked the fact that our food was served in less than 5 minutes! Not to mention, the pricing is very reasonable (If you have been to multiple Chinese restaurants in this area, then you would know how unreasonable their pricing is! However, this restaurant doesn’t follow that trend which I really appreciate! No chasing for more tips like Dong Ting Chun! ).

As for food, here are what we ordered:

mala tang/ dry pot -> You would go to the counter to get your vegetables, meat, tofu and so on. Next, you would go to the server and select how you would want your dish to be cooked (soup or dry based).

Boboji (spicy cold skewers (MY FAVORITE DISH )) -> Choose the skewers you want, and they would bring them out for you.

Spicy Pork Intestines: I noticed almost everyone that comes here would order this dish. It’s really yummy indeed!

Overall, if you are a spicy food lover, this restaurant wouldn’t disappoint you as I have been coming here at least once every 2 weeks!

Located where Green Zone used to be.

Hibiscus Tree isn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better malatang. I felt it couldn’t hold up to YGF and the others.

Their creamy beef broth wasn’t too salty, so that was good. I did like the quality of meat. I was able to get spam, beef and lamb.

The food is absolutely delicious. This is one of my favorite Chinese spicy food. The only issue I have is you usually need to wait longer to get your order ready.

this place is quite unorganized. came on a Sunday night, walk in the door, first thing you see is dirty dishes on all the open tables except one. sat down and ready to order but not one single person helped us. they just walked by like we’re not even there. finally had enough of this nonsense and left. can’t say I had bad service since I had no service. the food looked good on the menu but didn’t get to try it. the only thing I got out of this was the management of this place is disorganized.
