Stopped in tonight for the 1st time, didn’t even know this was so close to home. Was pleasantly surprised. Got the chicken, beef & shrimp hibachi (#4 on menu) because I wanted to try everything. The shrimp was perfectly cooked with a lil snap left, the beef was moist and not overcooked even had a lil char to it, the chicken caught me off guard with how juicy it was. I’m a self proclaimed chicken snob because restaurants always kill it and as a chef I don’t understood how. The vegetables all still had crunch and bright colors. Everything including the rice was a bit bland for my taste and I don’t use yum yum sauce. Will definitely eat here again. Even if you eat in it comes in Styrofoam which is a bit wasteful in my opinion.

Placed an order and a woman was there with her dog on the counter talking to the cashier. Obviously not a service dog and the cashier or owner called her over to see the dog and pet it all over the front counter where pickup food was placed. A friend recommended me come here and I decided not to eat it. Not sanitary at all, won’t be back.

Had gotten The hibachi plate with noodles I removed the meat so I can get the noodles to share with my daughter found a long black hair within the noodles took the full plate back to the restaurant they denied it was anyway possibly theirs. After that service and then pretty much insinuating I put the hair there I will not be recommending them nor will I be returning.

Placed an order through DoorDash for pickup and someone else picked up my order. They could not tell me if they showed my order number and refused to help me or remake my order even though I showed my order on my phone with my name and my phone number and the manager proceeded to yell at me instead of replacing the order or helping me

I will say this place coming for the first time was actually pretty good my food was well made and the texture and warmth met my expectations the shrimp was juicy on my shrimp fried rice and the rice was nice and fluffy a tiny bit mushy but me personally that’s how I like my rice and the meat that I also ordered with it which was beef the beef was nice and tender with an easy rip off the fork although I wish that the shrimp fried rice came in a bigger box as the box I feel like doesn’t fit the size difference unless I’d have to order two sides which would make sense but overall the food was exceptional and adequate 14 bucks I actually not bad for the price of what I got considering the size and quality as to other hibachi places I’ve been to that charge 16 or 17. So me personally I’d give the food a solid 4.5 outa 5. Even the second time I went it was adequate meat was a little hard to chew but could just be that I got a piece of meat that had either a tendon or cartilage on it.

As for the service I can understand how it could potentially be “bad” but really they’re just trying to have a better understanding so it’s hard for them to understand the guy with the accent was a little hard to hear and he got frustrated but I understand his demeanor as it’s hard for him to speak English so I grabbed a menu from the side and pointed to what I wanted and he smirked a bit so its like yeah he came here to work and have a family yatta yatta but in reality sometimes people need to have either more understanding or more patience as the dude isn’t from here I even remember coming from Puerto Rico and having a hard time with my English but now my English is far better it just takes time. It’s not that he’s a rude person he just doesn’t want to get frustrated at people when they don’t understand his words due to his accent.

Now for the atmosphere, it could use a little more work I understand it’s a fast food Japanese cuisine place but thing is I don’t really get the full feel, just wished there were chop sticks in the utensils station cause that gives me nostalgic feels from when I used to have an Asian parent in my family and taught me everything I needed to know about them even thought me how to use chopsticks when I was 12, not only that I feel like there should be a little more decor on the ethnic part of the restaurant as that entrance is what matters most as that gives a “Wow” feel when you enter

No online menu so I’ve had to order in the restaurant, was told the menu is on Facebook. Had a hankering for some Wings..
However..
Wings were tiny at almost $1/piece and ordered hot garlic pepper in which it was peppered but not very garlic or hot.

Had to add salt to the fried rice.

My first and last time here.

I really wanted to love this spot but I didn’t. The food was mediocre at best and overall disappointing. The service was sub-par and staff was not very friendly or helpful, especially to a first time customer.
I ended up ordering the lemon pepper honey wings with the rice. It was pricey and the quality and quantity wasn’t what it should have been. The wings were small, flimsy, and i wouldn’t call them freshly made. The rice was also suspect. It looked like white rice with soy sauce and some scrambled egg thrown in. It also didn’t have that freshly made taste or look to it.
I didn’t hate the food but it was definitely disappointing. I’m an willing to give them another chance but will order other menu items. Hopefully they step it up then.

First time here and will be the last, your probably better off going next door to New China City instead. Service was okay, food needs help. This crap is not hibachi, this is Temu version of a Hibachi and as i mentioned one better off just getting chinese next door.

I’ve been here more times than I can count. It’s right next to my house, so we’ve always ordered from here just for the convenience. But after today, I think it might be the last time.
I called to place an order and was immediately put on hold—no problem at first. But then I was left hanging for five minutes. I said “hello?” and finally someone picked up. I gave my order and was just told “10 minutes” before they hung up.
The cleanliness of the place is hit or miss—some days it’s fine, others not so much. But I don’t usually judge restaurants too harshly on appearance, since some of the best food I’ve had came from places that didn’t exactly look spotless.
This time, I ordered two servings of lemon pepper chicken. Honestly, they might as well have been plain wings. From what I could tell, they were probably pre-cooked and just tossed back into the fryer to pass as “fresh.” The fries felt the same way—reheated, not made to order.
I paid $35 for wings that were about the size of a child’s finger. For that price and that portion, it’s just not worth it.
If you’re craving wings, I highly recommend Beef ‘O’ Brady’s just down the road. They’ve got a great Wing Wednesday deal that gives you way more value for your money.
