the food was pretty bad compared to other Asian buffets I’ve been to. It was a Monday but still, everything tasted soggy and pretty bland. The place was dark and dingy with mediocre buffet food. A plate shouldn’t cost over 10 bucks for a place like this.

First time here, and I didn’t read reviews going in. That’s not what I expected for a strip mall buffet. The outside is nothing like the inside. I’ll bet back in the day this was a beautiful restaurant, but time is gaining on it. Seats are worn-out and a little ware on the tables. Service was friendly and fast. Food, I expected a lot more variety in sushi because of the name, and except for the Chinese food standards, there was nothing that stood out. Nice lunch but, not a place I would say you have to try it. Price was too much for what you get. I took a lot of pictures because the atmosphere and the size of the space is really nice. But over all, not great.. Taco Loco across the street has better food by far.

12/05/22 ; I tried Hibachi Sushi again for lunch. I can’t change my original review. It is just as I described before.

My Mom was about to order us a table for 10 she came in today alone smh..We eat here about 3 times a week… She was disrespected treated biased and racially profiled she was in a bad car wreck and keeps her ear buds in for sound clarity. If ur African American or of darker completion do not eat here we also sent the entire experience to wave 3 as my family has reported to trouble shooter on several occasions for poor businesses and ethical violations … we will continue to make the community aware of this business that looks like they are set up in several states we will keep the community updated on this effective 12/14/2025

Let me start off by saying, I am NOT a buffet person, however my kiddos LOVE them. Now, with that being said I didn’t love or hate this place. It was very middle of the road with this place.

This biggest problem I had with this place is, I think they make up the prices as they go. I went in on a Sunday to check the prices and brought my kiddos on Monday and the prices were different. (More expensive).

I also hated the fact that they had a sign that said, ” Uneaten food will be charged a Fee” ….In my opinion, that sign is ABSOLUTELY TACKY…isn’t it a BUFFET??

The food wasn’t hot HOT it was very lukewarm. The servers weren’t really personable and very “Business as usual” if you know what mean. They cleared our used plate almost IMMEDIATELY.

Also lets be clear the SUSHI part of this restaurant is laughable. The “sushi” is a very very very small piece of “filling” with more rice ROLLED into the sushi than anything else. As a sushi lover, I’ve never seen anything like it.

Last thing, we got there around 3, lunch is over at 3:30 & they start putting out dinner. They have labels that say “dinner” for the dinner items and I was told that if we got any of the items, we would be charged extra. HOWEVER, the lunch items that were removed for “Dinner” were gone.

Overall, would I go back? No, I don’t have to, unless my kids beg me.
