It is a great restaurant. The food is great off the grill but the line isn’t half bad either. The sushi is so so. There are various things that could make it better. First, if you sit in a boothe know the backs sway and you feel the people next to you. Second, I didn’t see gloves like some buffets have to prevent germs so if you are a germafobe this place isn’t for you. Lastly, more instructions as it took a minute to figure out what to do when we entered. The pricing is good at $15 per adult and they offer take out.

First time to try Hibachi Grill Sushi Buffet and the food was tasty. The open buffet had nearly all kinds of meat and sea food, veggies, sauce, rice, noodles aand fried potatos, sweets and cakes. Nearly everything is there you only have to choose your drink. Its a good place to visit.

Simply put, I was just not very impressed. After reading other reviews I developed high expectations, but Hibachi Grill failed to deliver. Some food items were definitely better than others. The sushi and egg rolls were decent, the rice, General Tso chicken, and rice were mediocre, the rest I didn’t care for. I would not touch the seafood here with a 10ft pole! The restaurant seemed run down and the servers were inattentive. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get me cashed out. Although I was excited to eat at a buffet in a post Covid world, this just didn’t quite do it for me. I do not plan to return and am in amazement that this restaurant earned so many positive reviews!

This is a very different and difficult review to write. The atmosphere is nice, but it is a little dated. The food was not great, but good. The service was ok. So, bottom line, you get what you pay for….it was busy for later on a Monday. You should make sure to try the sushi. It was very fresh and tasty. But don’t go near the restrooms, the men’s had a horrible urine odor and left a bad impression when leaving.

All of the food on the buffet was old, it’s always hard to time your visits right with buffetts. This was one of those times. The hibachi was great, and everything was super fresh, along with plenty of choices. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars.. the rest of the food was 1 star quality. I’ve been here before, and this was the 2nd time we left disappointed. We went in around 630, so I feel like the food should have been more fresh around that time. The sushi was horrible, I actually spit it out into a napkin. The staff was super nice, and pricing was decent. If you like hibachi, this is definitely a great spot in Lansing for it.. just don’t get your hopes up for the rest of the food to be fresh.

There is nothing like this diverse, giant, gourmet buffet. Great deal & variety for kids. I’m drawn to the grill where I watch my raw selections cooked to savory perfection. Desserts, Sushi Bar, Ribs frequently, beyond what I could imagine. The Go-To place for my girlfriend, me, and any large gathering!

Came in during the weekend. Was disappointed with the food option though; most of them are very typical American-Chinese options, plus the hibachi, some sushi roll (seaweed were completely out and never refilled the whole time we were there), and standard buffet dessert. Neither of us is happy with the price $13.5 for adults, $8.79 for kids of 7-10 for the option we have. One the second plate, we are pretty done; already tried out all the interesting options.

Very disappointed in Habachi. This is normally my family’s go to buffet. Today there was a woman who was sitting up front, hungry. We told her we would pay for her food and she was welcome to join us. When I asked for a table for 3, the gentleman looked at the woman and said “are you sure?” and almost didn’t seat us. Throughout our dinner, multiple employees kept walking by and starring at us…all because we allowed our new friend to join us for dinner. Very disappointed and disgusted in the unwelcoming enviornment and lack of professionalism and respect among the employees. We will not be returning..and instead be giving our time, money, and energy to people and businesses that respect ALL customers.
