Modern Asian-American spot with an unlimited, all-day buffet, plus tableside hibachi cooking.

Passing through town and decided to stop by. Heard that the buffet had Phò and had to try it. The broth was a big disappointment, very plain with no flavor. Try putting sriracha and hoisin sauce to make the broth taste better….both of the sauce was watered down runny. Overall there was plenty of meatballs and beef, noodle and vegetables in the phò.
The rest of the buffet dish is like how any other Chinese restaurant are. Drinks are not included in the meal and there no free refill, they won’t disclose that information. You eat first then pay afterwards.
The building atmosphere presentation, setting and bathrooms are top notch.

“If you are looking for sheer variety and value in the Des Moines area, Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is the place to beat. I was blown away by the selection—they claim to have over 250 items, and I believe it!
The highlight for me was definitely the Hibachi station. You get to pick your own raw ingredients (meats, veggies, noodles) and hand them to the chef to grill right in front of you. It ensures everything is hot, fresh, and seasoned exactly how you like it. The sushi bar was also surprisingly good for a buffet, with a solid mix of rolls that were restocked frequently.
Beyond that, the standard buffet lines are endless. From crispy dumplings and salt & pepper shrimp to the noodle soup station, there is something for literally everyone. They even have a chocolate fountain for dessert which is a fun touch.
The restaurant is massive and generally clean, and the staff is quick about clearing plates. For the price, you absolutely cannot beat the amount of food and options you get. Definitely prepare for a food coma afterwards!”

This buffet is a bit hit or miss. I really enjoy the open, spacious atmosphere and the wide variety of food options—they definitely have a lot to choose from.
Service can vary depending on who you get. Some waiters are great, while others are not as attentive. On our last visit, we had a confusing experience when our waitress took our cash payment and then mentioned something about the remaining “change.” We weren’t sure if she meant she was giving us change back or asking if we wanted to leave it. It caught us off guard and left us a little confused. We felt bad for not fully understanding, but it just seemed like an unusual way to phrase it.
At other buffets we’ve visited, the process is usually straightforward—they take the payment and simply return the change as expected.
Overall, I would still recommend giving this place a try because the food selection and atmosphere are nice. Just keep in mind that the experience may vary depending on the day and the service you receive.

Wow! So many items from all you can eat buffet. They claim it as 250+ items. Hibachi grill, sushi bar(20+ varieties) and chocolate fountain are few of the highlights. All these for $13.99 on weekday lunch is a steal deal. This places is maintained cleanly compared to other hibachi grill around the city. Large dinning area, clean washrooms. Definitely worth trying.

The place looks nice and clean; but the food is absolutely abysmal in its quality. It was extremely dry, which makes me suspect for how long it’s actually left out for. I don’t doubt it’s within the safe standards, at least I didn’t get sick, but the food could really be better with spending near $20 per person.

This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I was honestly too disgusted to eat. The place smells bad. The people smell bad. The food appears to be made out of plastic and oil. If you have any taste for good food I don’t see how you could enjoy eating here. It is below McDonald’s quality. I have never wanted to go here. I had a friend in town and he wanted to go so I begrudgingly went. A restaurant should smell good when you park and are walking in. It smelled like a factory and looked like one too. Just horrible. I am completely puzzled as to how any of these good reviews even exist. I left not hungry not because I was full but because I had completely lost my appetite.

This buffet serves some of the most delicious, flavorful food I’ve had in years—hot, fresh, and top-notch for a buffet. The downside? The service at this location is awful. The waiters are some of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. They barely refill sodas—I usually drink three or four during a meal, but here I barely get two.
On top of that, they’re pushy about tips. One waitress literally stood over me as I paid, practically demanding one, even banging on the tray to make her point. I refused and left, fed up with being treated like a dog.
Great food, but the service is so terrible that I won’t be coming back and will be checking out other options in the Des Moines area.

For a Chinese food buffet this is the one. The food was fresh and tasted good. I was stuffed by my second go around and wanting more. I would recommend this place and definitely try the dumplings. Sushi had alot of choices as well and tasted very good. Only thing I have to warn about is the food coma. Cancel your plans after. This is the equivalent of thanksgiving dinner I swear. Cost of two people at lunch and drink was around 40 plus tip.
